I'm trying to be positive:
West brom lost 4 something to us last season and the week after Liverpool stuck 5 up them. They were prime candidates for relegation but survived. We know what happened after those matches. Its history now but history has a habit of repeating itself.....
I'm trying to be positive.

apparently Liverpool's biggest defeat was a 9-1 hammering from Blues in the pre-Shankley days

i stand to be corrected by any older noses, but i think we beat port vale 8 - 0 the week after? 1953 weren't it?

i'm long past the point of blues getting me depressed anymore this season? i'll go down and watch the usual gubbings served up, but for me it's all about the day...having a drink with my mates etc.? and trying to chat up the barmaid in shannons

you mean opposition fans or our players?

I can take the stick I have had from fans but I am afraid I have been ground down to nothing by the players attitude, performance, effort and standards of play this year

the vicar prescribes a large dosage of 'perspective' my child!

we've had worse seaasons than this, worse players, worse managers (ahem...pendrey) and we will have worse days in the future? better days will come and pass, but rememeber this....we will always be here, no matter what happens or who comes and goes? WE are the football club, not them f**kers with their bentleys and their 5 year contracts and their majority stakes! just roll with it!

Unfortunately Father, Pendry had the fishes and loaves and couldnt do anything with them to feed the 5000. Whereas Brce has had more than a fair share of backing
