I have studied football betting coupons for over 10 years now and have never seen a premier game give an away side such a high odds as corals have blues to today to win at the manure

I was close to putting £10 on then the reality sunk in and I didn't. If anyone has the bottle to place a tenner let me know. Stranger things have happened....

No offence mate, but it's 2006 - ditch the coupons - you get miles more value on sites like Betfair.

Betfair have the odds of Birmingham beating Man Yoo Sunday at 21/1 **thumbup

In a two horse race, odds of anything over 10/1 are almost irresistable. But then you have to look at the jockey........

I thought that 14-1 was your prediction for the score :o (can't see us scoring, tbh.)

The draw is on at about 7/1 or 8/1 in places. Much better prospect for my money

i'll take that at 14-1. My theory is that they'll pull off a suprise performance before the end of the season and i'd hat it to be a 14-1 shot that i miss out on.

Come on boys. It is Manchester United. Away. We have just lost 7-0 at home. We have even further injuries. We are useless.

If someone offered me 100 -1 I would still not put anything on it !!

Isn't watching the blues depressing enough already without losing money on it ?

0-1 35/1
0-2 159/1
1-2 109/1

All on Betfair

Sneaky one goal win at 35/1

Tim,

Surely if you are going to back the boys to win the outright bet of 21/1 is much better value than 35/1 for 1-0.

You are, in essence, taking 4/7 that if we win its 1-0 (21/1*1.57).

Hope this makes sense.....

the first time i went horse racing it was at Stratford and, not being a gambler, i had no real idea of form. i'd lost money then in the last race there was a horse called Daily Sport Girl. the favourite in the race was so strong that the bookies were taking bets on the second place.

anyway, i put a few quid on Daily Sport Girl because if the obvious links with Blues and it's owners!

we had some serious gamblers with us, all with their umbrella's and a copy of the racing post. they laughed at my inexperienced silly bet.

she won. they forgot to tell me that the bookies at race courses pack up almost immediately after the last race. anyway, i managed to get there on just in time to collect my winnings - the only one with that bookie!

so at odds of 12/1 i'm game to put a tenner on the Blues to win.

over the years with Blues i've learnt that anything is possible. kro.

Makes perfect sense mate, I don't like correct scores - I won't be betting on this - just thought I'd point out to the original poster that 'betting shop coupons' is where you are likely to lose your money in the long run as there is no value in their prices.

Norwich away at Burnley tonight @ 2.40 is value.

Norwich have won 5 of last 6 and Burnley are crap.

Also

West Ham to beat Wigwam @ over 3.00

and a...

Derry/Cork Double @ about 2.60

Are my bets this weekend.

well if you're gonna bet on the Blues at least bet on a positive outcome!

personally i'd rather not win than see us relegated, cos if you win your bet we are down, that is a fact.

I dont want to win the bet BUT if we dont score and go down at least i can pay for my season ticket next season. If we do score and stay up then it's only cost me a tenner, well worth it .

i think i have as much chance as you of winning my bet!
