So what if Pompey beat Boro? Its in our hands were still outside of the relegation zone even if it is on goal difference! All we have to do now is stay positive and beat the Villa  :P

We have to win everygame

When was the last time we've won more than 2 in a row

Have some belief!

yeah it's frustrating, but remember it's still in our own hands. if we don't have the fight to get out of this battle this season, then we deserve to go down, hopefully we can pick up wins, stay up and have a good start to the next season :)

I'm not! We have to win the rest of our games - if we do, we're fine. We've got no excuses now, all our games are winnable. It's in the collective hands of our manager, our players and our fans - we've all gotta do our bit to survive and the fans are certainly up for the fight.

The fans don't decide tactics.
The fans don't pick the team.
The fans sing their bloody hearts out.

Get a manager with guts and belief in Birmingham. A manager that knows the fans. That knows US.

4-6-0 against Villa you watch....bloody coward Brucey.

not surprised you guys are a little peaved - however we are on a good run. harry in our first season in the prem in the last 10 games delivered six wins 3 draws and only 1 loss - looks like he has us believing again and we may do the same

i fancy us to do boro and we play charlton monday who never finish well and have nothing to play for. we then play sunderland at home

its going to be close no matter what :o

in all honesty, i think it'll be out of Blues and Pompey to stay up. the big difference though is that Portsmouth look like they can score at any time, whereas with Blues, i'm AMAZED when we score a goal. that Jarosik strike threw me completely

hopefully Dunny and Jarosik can bag a few against Vile. the only striker that looks like scoring for us is Forssell unfortunately ;)

I've never yet heard 'Arry R discuss tactics, substitutions, make excuses for injuries, or even realise what injuries he may have in his teams.
His Sky interviews are so bland and non-commital- he should be the next England Manager.
He never says why he brought so-and-so on, why he changed this or that. When he was at the hammers he was the same.
Never heard him discuss other team's players either. Like what Gerrard or Beckham can do.What Henry may do or anything.

All I know about 'Arry Redknapp is that he was sacked from West Ham for pocketing a gratuity from Leeds for selling Ferdinand. That he put the Hammers in debt through his wheeling and dealing. Same with Portsmouth. Going the same way with the Saints.

I think that there is something very sinister about our 'Arry. Obviously I can't prove it but I look at what little he says and what his teams achieve and its like, I don't know. Magic?

Do you believe in magic? 'Arry 'Oudini ? No, theres somethink else I think.

According to 5 Live...

... Arsenal have been ahead at half time 11 times before the pompey game and out of those games they have won 11 - all of them - never ever let the other team back into it....

... and what do they do against pompey?

Things do seem to be conspiring against us - but in the end we have only ourselves to blame. Why do we start to play good and play with heart when we are neasly up shiit creek with no way out?

Not happy with Arsenal, and not happy with us either.

Not happy with Arsenal?

They owe us nothing.

We're where we are because of our results away from home - not taking games when they've been there on a plate.

Our home form hasnt been great either but we've picked up some wins, albeit Portsmouth apart, 1-0 each time.

But we should be thankful that the first Pompey-Arsenal was a draw - in the original fixture they were due to leave Henry, Fabregas and Toure out.

my boss is a gooner and he's feeling worse about it than i am!!! that was their game in hand and they needed the win, now they're 4 points behind spurs (who they get on with like we do the vile) so its out of their hands for 4th spot....they'll have to win the champs league now... :o

Can't believe all of the crap on this thread about Arsenal failing to beat Portsmouth. Pompey are playing well at the moment and some credit should be afforded to them imo. And it's no good whingeing about Boro concentrating on other games, we got ourselves into this mess, and it's up to us to get out of it, and not rely on other teams to do it for us
