Already mentioned are Julian Gray, Matt Sadler and Nicky Butt however i would like to praise Damian Johnson who once again proved to consistent, hard working and loads of skill. He is not only my MotM but my player of the season. Thanks DJ. |

Yes definatley Jules, 2 assists, should have been 3 but sutton couldn't finish that sitter, nearly got himself a goal and didnt stop running all night, did well to waste time at the end aswell! He has been good in most games he has played this season but backed out of one challenge and he was public enemy number one. Lets hope he can keep it up for the last 3 games! |

Choice between DJ and Gray. Gray set up Sutton for the miss. ...and had 1 assist, did he set up the 2nd? Well done Julian Gray! But i thought DJ had it. Tireless effort. 2 great crosses in the first half, the best shot of the first half, snuffed out Savage and looked up for it. Covered, tracked back, and generally did the leg work. Set the tone. DJ for me. |

I agree. I think the whole team played fantastically well last night: Maik- some great saves when we needed him the most Sadler- solid as a rock and great tackles Taylor- I have criticised Taylor for his lack of commitment lately but I thought he did great last night...he was well up for it! Kenny- What a star!! Who said he needs to retire??His defending was faultless last night Tebs- Fighting for every ball...never gave up Gray- WOW!!!!! If only he could play like that every game we'd love him forever! DJ- Him and Butt controlled midfield last night. Got stuck into them and did some fantastic crosses and nearly a goal- I'm so gutted he didn't get the goal. He sooo deserves it! Butt- Midfield warrier- was strong as an ox and scored!!! FABULOUS! Pennant-Was running them ragged..and he had an injury from the first 30seconds. Lets hope he's back for Saturday Mario-I was in the Tilton-cop corner and watched his play at close range-Thought he played well considering he was out of position. While he's not the crosser that Pennant is he kept hold of the ball well and worked well with Sutton/Hesk?DJ and Butt to get the ball in the box. Hesk- Thought he had a good game. Did lots of flick ons and him and Sutton seemed to read each other better than before. Hope he gets his goal soon. Sutton- Strong and worked well. Thought he was tiring a little at the beginning of the second half until Fors came on..that seemed to give him a second wind. Forss- THE FORSS IS BACK IN TOWN! I've never seen him so determined as he was last night. He got stuck into tackles (which I haven't seen him do much of lately), he called for every ball and finished the goal off perfectly. Overall fantastic day! Just a pity Hughes couldn't give us any credit saying that we played poor...I guess he's just miffed we didn't allow Blackburn to play! The 'Robbie Savage, what a w****r, what a w****r' completed a fantastic night by all! |

Gray has a lot of pace aswell. He is able to run fast for the whole game, something which much of our team can't do. |
