What do you think? England have aproblem in that postition for the world cup, birmingham dont anymore..so why not? Looks just as good as the next player imo. |

Please, please, please, don't make suggestions like that. The last Blues player who was suggested for England was Julian Gray. It doesn't take long for fans to put a player on a pedestal and then kick it away from under him. Let's put no undue pressure on Sadler, and let's let him develop as our regular fullback first. |

this could be in the top 3 worst suggestions of the season imo - i'm not denigrating the player who appears to have everything (if he tightens up his distribution) but both cole and bridge will be fit for the world cup and at the moment are light years ahead of sadler right now. next world cup, who knows? it would be nice but i was under the impression he's actually a cb by trade!? |

as far as i know he's always played LB all his career and maybe LM at a pinch but never centreback he's not very tall is he? and i agree far too early for main squad but should get into under 21's ahead of glen johnson surely. if only because he actually plays! |

No, you're getting confused by Painter. He's the one who has mainly played centre back. |

Don't make me laugh, hes a long way off an England place. I'm not knocking the lad, but Dunn, Upson, and Co who are established Premiership players have been unable to command places, so why Sadler? Give him another 2 seasons of solid Premiership footy and we'll see. The lads got talent, but is not near a full England callup just yet. |

Look at paul koncheskey and warnock, they have only broke through this year, and have both ammounted a few more england caps now, so why not Sadler, o no wait, he plays in the midlands silly me. |

He needs to learn to pass first. Put no pressure on him (unlike Jules) and let the lad develop |

Paul Koncheskey has played for sometime, and did play for the U21's when at Charlton. ..and yes hes played really well for West Ham IMO. |
