The Times reports that Savage was confronted by 2 angry blues players after the game as they were unhappy with the way he celebrated his goal.

I wonder who the 2 players were. My guess is that it was Tebilly and DJ.

I know from an absolute fact that the story is a complete fabrication. Don't believe a word of it.

I was watching Savage (and, erm, making him aware of my point of view) as he left the pitch. He approached the tunnel surrounded by half a dozen security guys. As he reached the tunnel he hesitated, almost stopped, and one of the security guys pushed him into the tunnel. It might have been because he saw a couple of blues players waiting to congratulate him on his goal. I hope so. **thumbup

Spoil-sport!! :P

Eitherway the guy needed to be pulled up about his behaviour. Its about respect and the guy only have respect for one person- Robbie Savage. He could have incited a riot...I was not far off going onto the pitch and decking him myself!

Did he honestly think that he would come back and we would be pleased to see him???...the guy is more stupid than I thought- and I thought he was already really stupid! He claimed he celebrated like that because he was hurt by the way the fans had received him. The man got a massive signing on fee when he signed his 4 year contract and then chose to lie and deceive the very people that supported him to get what he wanted and to play with Mark Hughes. He may not have any morals but the Birmingham City fans have.

whats done is done and if we are half the supporter we protest to be will just let this one go and let Robbie Savage go. Each season he plays against us he will be less of a player than the year before and with each game gone we will care less and less about him and the situation.

Let it go.

Can't really see it being DJ tbh, he seems too quiet a person, ok he is a bit of a hard man on the pitch, but not off it, now if Grainge had been there!!!.
