There is another book by the brother:

Good as Gold by Ralph Gold.

Other than different wives and dinner parties, can't see how different it is going to be, as both brothers seemed to go through life joined at the hip in a business sense.
Unless he is a bit more forthcoming on DS's prison & scam background????
Doubt it though, he would have needed clearance wouldn't he??

Yeah that's the one I've got - maybe I'll just read it again and change the names David for Ralph and Ralph for David.

Ralph's was a good read IMO.

Read Ralph's before and I'm currently 3/4 of the way through it again. It's actually downloadable for free from those that haven't read it. Oh and Ralph Gold - or someone pretending to be him! - signed my guestbook not too long ago. Freaky weird.

When Paul Tate headed the ball into the back of the net for 'Birmingham City' I was near to tears.  Had they flowed they would have been tears of joy.  It was without doubt one of the happiest moments of my life.  The Birmingham fans were dancing and singing for hours.  David and I heard them chant.... "There's only one Gold brothers", which sent a tingle down my spine.  The team made their lap of honour whilst David and I stood in awe.  We watched and listened as more than 50,000 loyal fans began to sing the famous club anthem.... "Keep Right on to the End of the Road....." I can think of no better way to complete my story........
"Keep right on to.................The End.

Last word:

Money isn't everything.  I have money
and I have everything and believe me
they are not the same.

As DG's co-author's namesake, Bob Harris would say - 'Great!'

Didn't David Sullivan also have an autobiography? What was that called?

I've read Good As Gold and loved it - it is a really wonderful read.

I would really recommend it to anyone as a good holiday read.

I too will buy this and look forward to reading it.
