wtf** I can not believe Bruce started with Heskey instead of Forssell, we surely needed to go for the win today, as Portsmouth were bound to win as was proved.
Its hardly bloody the middle of the season and a point away at Everton is a good result, we have just 2 games left to save our skin and he plays 1 in 23 man instead of the Force who's just cracked the winner in earlier in the week.

Have to agree...and Bruce has admitted on tv tonight that Heskey wasn't fit.

Still, keep believing. Next week we may be saying what a good point this was.

It was a good point to come away with today, but Steve Bruces way of thinking baffles me at the best of times!

that thinking is the reason we have only won 2 games away all season and against the bottom 2 clubs in the division.

His total lack of ambition away from home, even today has mystified most of us, even on a day he admits Heskey wasnt fit "no" wtf**

Agree also.

Forssell is fit, looks hungry and just scored you a winning goal and looks up for it.

Heskey is slow, spends half his time on the floor and oh, doesn't score goals, and rarely shoots. Add to that he was carrying an injury.

Who would you pick?

Yep, me too.

the way the game went, DJ Campbell didnt appear to have much chance to change things.

it's all well and good they give 100% defencively, but offensively is where i counts now, we need goals.

what are the chances we go negative against Newcastle?

And not only that he was only brought on with 30 minutes to go. It was obvious that Heskey was not doing anything and, to be honest, neither was Sutton apart from trying to beat his marker by three falls or a submission.
When Forsell came on at least we looked like we were trying to score.

I'm trying my hardest to be upbeat and positive but I'm feeling really despondent at the moment. As soon as I saw who was playing, my heart sunk. This should have been a big win for us today.

I think it's all over for us next Saturday as I think Portsmouth will win and we've allowed them to get the upper hand today.

Forssell should have started today, should have been the first name on the teamsheet after Wednesday.

I've just got to cross everything and hope that Portsmouth stuff up in those last two games - it shouldn't have come to this, our destiny should have been in our hands after Wednesday.
