He is having his leg amputated after already having his foot amputated. Good player for us in his day.

He was on the radio the other week - said blues fans were the only ones that never took to him.

I sometimes think some of our current players only have one leg  they play like it anyway.

I'm beginning to think the gypsies curse has spread to some of our players in the past:-

Jeff Hall
Ian Handysides
Les Sealey
Ted McMinn
Eamonn Dolan
Danny Wallace

Just a few who have passed away at an early age or have had major illnesses.
Is this just a fair reflection of society or are we jinxed?

I liked Big ted.

Put an arm round him after the Kiddy game. Some bloke was giving him loads on the way down the tunnel so I went off on one for Ted. As you do!!!

I come back to this thread because tonight i have watched a very special game on DVD

The date
Sunday 31st October 1993
the place
St Andrews
the Team

.........................Miller
Hiley..........Whyte....Dryden.........Potter
Donowa.......Parris.....Smith...........Mcminn
..................Shutt.......Saville

Score 1-0.... Carl Shutt, Man of the Match Ted Mcminn..... voted by Jimmy Greaves.

Ted took one full in the wotsits from a Millwall player during that match..... you could hear the cry from the Kop, and the Millwall player never even got booked!!

great player Ted Mcminn....i liked him

Footie question........Which player appeared in that game and has played for Blues in the Premiership??
