I will probably buy the cheapest category, even though I only go to 2-3 games a season for obvious reasons.

It's these times when we need to stick together and support our club.

We are used to heartbreak as a 'nose.

anything over £350 and i aint renewing

i been watching crap football for two seasons and I dont think £490 was worth it this season

give it 2 months into next season and there will be 12 - 15000 empty seats each game

I will re-new my season ticket because Birmingham City are the team I love. Love means you don't have to say sorry.

No. Not renewing season ticket. Wouldn't have even if we'd stayed up. Not paying to watch that crap week in week out.

you have got no chance, not that I think you believe it.

I dont mind them staying the same if:-

1) ST holders get better value for money. We have been let down because of ticketing promotions and is just as cheap to buy on a match by match basis. So the board (and they have acknowledged the fact) that they will have to do something, and i dont mean a 10% voucher for the shop

2) They make a serious bid to get out of the championship and prepare ourselves for the Premiership

If they genuinely do these things then perhaps the amount of people not buying a ST will be more than if they do nothing

Don't think they will be that quick to drop the prices. I think they will see how many fans renew their tickets first before they change anything.
So everyone might be better of waiting as long as possible and they might drop the prices big time **thumbup

Midweek games are a pain for me as i work nights. For every midweek game I have to go in late and make up the time on my rest night which in effect is doing 50 quid of overtime for nothing!! They`re are more midweek games in the fizzy league= more hassle for me. I`ve had a season ticket for 22 years so it will seem weird if I don`t renew but I felt ripped off this year with all the reduced price fixtures added to the passionless football. Season ticket holders have recieved no reward for their loyalty, no offer of a free away ticket or free away travel to a game where they could have done with huge support (eg. wigan). Instead I`ve forked out and watched people pick and choose, getting in for 15 quid, twenty quid etc. Even the big games you`d have got tickets for, for gods sake yesterday wasn`t a sell out what does that tell you!

To summarise I suppose it depends on pricing and incentives, at the moment I`m going to use some of that money put aside (two weeks wages!) to take my three year old daughter out for the day today.

Doesn`t wash. They put them up over 50% to watch fewer games didn`t they!!

KB has already stated that ST prices will not be cut - The fall in revenue from TV and sponsorship has to be made up somehow.

Releasing players out of contract & end loan agreements only goes so far towards covering this loss.

Check out the AGM thread ot tells you everyhting.

In that case there will be a fall in revenue from season ticket sales as well. Football is supposed to be classed in the entertainment industry. If I paid for a ticket for a concert I would pay less to see the wurzels than to see the eagles!

The best thing to do is not renew any season tickets they will start to panic and cut the prices they will have to.
It might work

The pricing has become a major issue but I'll still renew. It will guarantee a place at Wembley for the play-off final (Blues will never just do it the easy way and win the championship!) and will continue to support the club.

It is expensive and the season ticket holders do need some reward but we support the club - NOT the premiership. I go to watch Blues so it doesn't matter whether they happen to be playing Chelsea or Stoke.

We all feel gutted but at least we'll win some games next season and hopefully swap places with the vile who don't seem to be buying any new players to replace their trash.

The song is 'Keep right on to the end of the road', not 'Keep right on to the end of the road (unless we get relegated when I'll go and sulk and wait until they're in the prem again...)'

Well you never know you may get to see the Eagles next season unless they win the play-offs.

I can guarantee you though you'll be seeing the Wurzels, and more than once.

It'll be back to the old days when teams came to St Andys' to defend because we were one of their big games.
