just thought maybe we should have a post decicated to questions relating to championship, I dont know if the rules are the same or different and many others may not know, so this is the place to ask and get the answers.

my first question can you still only have 2 loan players from the homeland?

All I know is we have to play an extra 8 games (46) in the League and start the Carling Cup in Round One

Not sure about the transfer window but I thought you could sign players from other leagues (i.e Prem or League One or Two) outside the window

Just hope we come back as Champions (or runners up) both automatic places........don't want to go through the bloomin' play offs again

I think it's the same time as The PL

All done by computer these days

So expect Plymouth AWAY on Boxing Day and a trip up to Sunderland on New Years Day

Next thing you know the POLICE will demand our HOME games v Wolves,Albion,Stoke and Coventry to kick off at NINE in the morning

you might be right partisan, but i was under the impression the cc fixtures were published at least a week before the prem...might have made that up, but my boss is a st holder at derby and i'm sure he had their fixtures before i got blues...

Thanks guys.

I had a feeling it was either a week before or after the 'real' fixtures come out.

Mid June roughly I guess?

Are Season Tickets cheaper in the CL ?

Is it true that the bonus is bigger than the basic in player's wages?

Is it also true that the basic is the National Average Wage ?

In the Championship, are owners of clubs only allowed one fib a year ?

Does the Stadium Announcer have to adopt a stronger Regional Accent ?

Will we get free Bovril ?

:D

Blues have asked to be at home on Boxing Day as it marks 100 years at St Andrews - they also asked for it to be against Middlesbro', who were the first opponents - No chance of that now ;)

I too think this is a big "go off" league - Wolves, Leeds, Stoke, Cardiff - All nice friendly places to visit <_<

So you don't reckon Leeds will go up in the play offs then ,mate ???

On a BRIGHT note at least MILLWALL were relegated too....

Won't have to worry about the away coaches being set on fire

Transfer window came in last season, but there was some kind of "emergency" loans system to allow teams to get around it. Don't know whether that will still apply next season.

I don't fancy Leeds, It's Palace for me if I was a betting man.

Oh and I forgot - Hull ! - Not the friendliest of places to go ;)

The transfer window applys just like the Prem but I think u can loan players upto a certain date in April so the window only applys for perm transfers.

BUT now we are down, they will probably change the rules just like they did when we lost to Liverpool in the cup final.

The rules were not changed. Runners up in the League Cup have never qualified for Europe.

its usually the week before the Premiership starts, so as the Premiership starts on August 19th, I believe the Championship should start on August 12th
