It would appear from a number of their fans that Norwich would be willing to take him on as an 'old boy' and sack Worthington ! It seems they rate him as a manager for getting us up and keeping us up for 3 years, they blame this season totally on injuries ! Shame they didnt take into the equation the millions he'd blown and the backwards steps weve taken over the last two seasons ! But hey, they'll have him, so he can walk with a financial settlement off David Sullivan, hold onto some respect from our fans for his achievements and having walked, and still be a Championship Manager, so could be good news all round ! Alas i feel if he insists on staying, he'll be sacked by October following a struggle of a start next season, and any respect will be lost ! |

Norwich occured to me as a good move for bruce. He is still very popular there & the expectations / pressure are a bit lower than here. |

If it was Norwich v Blues at Wembley again with Bruce as their manager, he'd be playing for penalties after a 0-0 draw... |

Just as devils advocate, two potential futures 1 Bruce stays and come October we are flying high - will all of us Bruce out crowd go quiet? 2 Bruce goes to Norwich and they are flying high . . . . |

If Bruce stays, I think he will get 6 matches of next season before they sack him. |

1. Tbh, if the board decide to stick with SB then I will get behind him for the new season (even though it would be the wrong decision, imo). 2. Good luck to them. I have nothing against SB personally & like Norwich after their fans were gracious in defeat in our play off final. |

By then tho Sue he could have wasted a decent amount of money rebuilding a team, who will then need rebuilding by a new manager. |

As Sullivan has said, we will still have a level of financial clout in the Championship, something Norwich will lack ! I would rather see Bruce succeed at Norwich by getting the best out of what he's got, than fail at us while squandering what little clout we have left in the process ! Expectation will be far higher at St Andrews in the Championship than it will ever be at Carrow Road ! Can you really see Sullivan accepting a season next year like Norwich have just had ? |

Its all face saving though isn't it. Saving Steve's face. I can't see it working because:- a) He doesn't think he's done anything wrong b) He is a future England Manager c) Wage drop would be phenomenal. :( |
