I was just wondering, does anyone know which game will be shown on Sunday? I was hoping that they might have had to chose before we got relegated and had chosen us and Pompey hoping it would go down to the wire as I was unable to get a ticket to the Bolton game.

Any ideas?

If Arsenal win on Thursday it will be their game and the Spurs game, to decide who finished 4th.

Unless the FA conduct a quick investigation into Kevin Kyle's & Gary Teale's weird Handballs ( and their bank accounts).....it'll be the 4th spot fight.
Arsenal & Spurs...though, it could be second spot now that Man U are blowing up....

won't be us, unless the man has walked.

must admit both were weird handballs, both put there hands up in the air.... they were almost identical, two penalties, West Ham and Middlesborough fielded weaker teams against them, Wigan announced that their best player of the season would be leaving on the day they played Portsmouth.... anymore??

i still say that something doesn't seem right about all this, Not even Birmingham City could have this much bad luck "no"

Isn't Redknapp being investigated over a betting scandal and his move from Southampton or something? The more you think about it, the dodgier it gets.

Jarisik,s disallowed goal against Wigan would have given us 2 more points.
We would still be in with a shout.

I though that the hand balls were odd, because they are probbly the easiest way to give away a penalty, but i think its just because were are looking for reasons.

If anyone from other clubs read this thread, they would think we're the biggest bad-losers and sour-grape merchants going.

But we're bloody blue-noses, NOBODY in the whole world knows more about bad bloody luck than we do.

And these things, imo, are not bad luck. Don't come anywhere near black cats, ladders and broken mirrors - them things we can deal with, and shrug & say, its cos of us, or our curse. But these two handballs were a bit of insurance too far.

Fair play to Portsmouth, they made their own luck. Played like they wanted to win, whereas we played like we were scared of losing. So perhaps they might not have needed 2 hand balls when they were drawing. Especially as they had already had the "rub-of-the-green" by playing 2 sides with 2nd choice teams.

No, I think that this was just insurance. And if I see Teale or Kyle driving around in Porsches in the next 50 years, I will be convinced!!!
