Taken from the premier league web site.

50% of total money goes on an equal share basis to the 20 FA Premier League clubs, while relegated clubs also receive some of this money in the form of a parachute payment. 25% of the money is paid as facility fees, which are determined by the number of appearances on television. 25% is paid in merit payments, determined by the position that a club finished in the league.

Yes. They are spread over two seasons and amount to somewhere in the region of £16m-£18m. More information is available on the FA website.

it would be! just like the year we qualify for Europe for being runners up in the Worthy Cup they stop allowing the runners up in! Milwall come along and it's passports all the way....

Reading the reports about Hoddle staying at Wolves, I noticed that their parachute payments had just finished. Consequently there is currently an awful lot of cost-cutting there at the moment. If Blues want any lessons on the importance of bouncing back straight away, they've got one there.
