Yes, Well Done Jonty!! **thumbup

By far my player of the season full of blood and commitment, passion, 110%, battled, fought and did what any other player didn't! **thumbup

Fair play to him, his performances we're consistant all season and we knew what we we're going to see every week.

Totally stood out amgonst the money grabbers we have got in the sqaud and NOT injury prone.

WELL DONE JONTY **thumbup

Keep Right On **thumbup

**thumbup Well done Jonty, you deserve every success that comes your way, you were a ray of sunshine in our raincloud. You litterally bled for the cause, playing on when nobody would have blamed you for going off. Heres to hoping you stay and get us promoted in 12 months time.

Congratulatons Jonty, your COMMITMENT AND GRAFT has been rewarded, you have consistantly worked your socks off for our club and shared our pain on Saturday, unlike some of our big time charlies.
Many thanks for all of your hard work and i for one hope to see you out there next season. **thumbup

At last, a correct decision this season.

DJ is the only one who has maintained his previous form and attitude consistently.

Totally deserved **thumbup

yep well don jonty

i am far from his biggest fan and at the start of the season, and if we had performed as we should he would have struggled to get into the squad.

but like i said, fair play jonty and well done

Why

dont want to get into to much criticism of jonty on this thread as this is a well done thread as i have already mentioned.

however in breif my reasons are as follows:

1. player of the season that got relegated with one of the biggest criticisms levelled at the team being lack of bottle and jonty showed more than anybody

2. he is to negative, always looking for a backward pass, remember one game this season when he got the ball with no one near him and was about to pass backwards until the crowd got on him back and forced him to play it forward. it is a shame as in newcastle game he got forward a lot more and made some good runs, just want to know why it has taken him a whole season to do this

3. honestly felt that if butt or clemence had been given jontys role instead of playing next to him then we would have seen more from these players.

4. criticism of bruce this one not jonty, but he is one of the favourites, and he will look to play him anywhere to accomodate even if a better player is left on the bench. for instance a couple of times he has played on the wing menaing that pennant, arguably our best attacking threat, being forced to switch wings to fit him in!!!
