It's easy for Gold to say he wants us to be Champions of the Fizzy Pop league but getting rid of our best players isn't going to help now is it.

We won't win the league i don't think, i reckon the playoffs for a start is a reasonable aim. Once we're there then we can think about other options.

I think if Albion can keep their big guns they could possibly win the League.

Oh i don't know, my heed is done in. Had enough.

Yes..I really believe that if we keep most of the prem players then our team will be strong and have every oppotunity to bounce back. However if most of our squad ends up being championship quality etc then we have equal chance as the rest.

i actually think it will be bad for us to come stait back up.

reason being we will lose most of the squad and replace them with champ players.

i think we need to consolodate and do wht west ham did .

stay down a couple of seasons and build a good squad and then build from that .

last time we were looky and got ahead of ourselves and it did'nt work.

No dr nick the word consolidate is a bad word when used by a manager. We need to get back up as soon as we can and worry about the rest of it afterwards. Too many managers have been at the blues and talked about consolidation it’s just another word for under achievement.

Gold is right to say we should aim to win the league we don’t buy lottery tickets in the hope of finishing second.

i dunno i think it would be better to build up first.

dont get me wrong i want to be back as soon as possible but i just think we should learn from our mistakes and not rush it .

2 seasons 3 at the max we could get a side to make us proud and not just slap dsh it like we did 4 years ago.

You mean the Prem players who struggled against Reading's reserves? :)

Agreed. Too many players are going to be leaving - although justifiably.
Too few will be coming in. Four to six says Sullivan. That's not enough. The rumour is that there is £1 million available to spend this summer and money generated from sales will be banked. I have this fear we will become a average mid-table championship side for ever more. If we are aiming to win the league then we've got to have a manager that will inspire us to do it and the funds. We have neither.

I don't think the Baggies will win the league but of the relegated side they'll probably do the best In my opinion

I think we should just accept the fact its not gonna be easy (like Southampton fans have and did) and accept mid-table, scraping the playoff's at very best is where we will probably be.

Mind you the people moaning recently about mid-table mediocrity were Norwich and Why? The same man who took them down was still in charge and he was still underachieving. - This is exactly whats gonna happen to Bruce if he remains in the job - we are not gonna be top of the table and the fans will get annoyed - we'd have more patience with a new manager.

Where has this 1 million rumour come from? I would be amazed if its any more than wild speculation at this stage.
