Put this on another post but it appropriate here too. Its a good idea about the U12's price. For a single adults ticket tho.

Fact - We are paying Premiership prices to watch garbage football. (£200 more if memory serves me right from when we were last there) Fact - They will cut ticket prices throughout the season. Fact - You will always get a ticket even for the derby games if your quick enough. Fact - You'll miss games if you're on shift work. Fact - An ST will gaurentee play off and play off final tickets. Fact - The chances of going straight back up are against us. Fact - You will be able to get an ST at Xmas for half price sold on the basis that they will gaurentee you a ticket for the play offs. Fact - You'll miss it if you're not there |

why do you think the on the day prices are likely to be so cheap? the wolves were charging £24 this season in the championship -= I bet ours will match that sort of price.. My renewal works out quite good - my lad and I sit in the family stand - £361 and £180 this works out just £15.70 per game for me and £7 a game for the lad..if we renew again next season this is £288 and £144 just £12 quid a game and £6 for the boy..and we could even be back in the premiership by then.... |

why do you think the on the day prices are likely to be so cheap? [/QUOTE] I base my belief on the fact that for most of this season's Premiership games there were tickets available at reduced prices. ST holders lost out big time over the season. In the Championship there will be even more available. They have a choice. Sell at the normal price and risk having many empty seats, or reduce the prices to recoup some money. With a few exceptions, they will probably do the latter. If i'm wrong, i'm wrong. I'm going to see how it all pans out. That being said, the price isn't my main motivating factor. As far as I'm concerned I will not endorse a poor manager, and not buying a ST is my own way of sending a message to a Board who did nothing as we limped into the Championship. |

When we went up prices did the same, then when they found that the ground was not filling up week in week out they had a series of reduced price tickets for people who got the on a game by game basis. This peed off the season ticket holds no end. Now we are down prices have stayed the same with an incentive to buy a three year ticket which would give a 25% reduction on next years ticket but a return to this years price the year after. wtf** Blues board of directors are milking the fan base for every penny it has and people are getting very very pi ssed off! |

Read the small print - the 20% reduction will be on the 2007/8 ST price. If we go up, ST prices could go up (say) 50% and your discount will be 20% OFF THE NEW ST PRICE. Admittedly the third season will then go back to 2006/7 but we could be back down by then especially given as we will have effectively frozen a chunk of our income at prices three years old. |

It's a vicious circle. STs look expensive = low ST sales Low ST sales = lots of empty seats Lots of empty seats = low pay on the day prices Low pay on the day prices = STs look expensive STs look expensive = low ST sales.... A flawed, in fact cr@p, commercial strategy. |

FROZEN!!! That's a bleedin cheek. No way am I paying £579 to watch Coca Cola League. I'm afraid that after 12 consecutive seasons, I will NOT be renewing my season ticket. |
