Roger Hynd would have been the FIRST to admit he didn't possess skill or technique But the 'Big Man' was a battlefield veteran in every sense of the word and would die for the Blue shirt Matin Taylor....simply by his own pathetic body language epitomises the kind of footballer (not all of them it has to be said) that David Sullivan so despises............Taylor is slow, uncommitted, happy to pick up a fat paycheck with little effort put in and the closest thing you'll see to a 'donkey' without having to take a trip to Blackpool Beach Sorry,Willie he is the WORSE centre back in Blue's history How on earth we can think of keeping Taylor and letting a player like Kenny Cunningham go is further proof that our great club is sinking slowly down the pan........... I'm among the first to jump on the pessimists among us but let's face it, Martin Taylor is just hopeless as a Premiership player. He'll look like Bobby Moore in the Championship though. |

Totally agree. Seeing Taylor totally out fought and bullied in the Vile Derby was totally pathetic, embarrassing and for me the final straw. |

I'm gonna stick up for Martin Taylor. Yes, sometimes he makes himself look like a goon - but I believe he can be a very good player in the Championship. He'll be one of the best defenders in the league down there. |

I remember Defoe out jumping the BFG when we played Spurs, and it was there and then that i realised this guy was real ****, and given that we have a 6 footer in Oji, waiting in the wings, who has bags of pace, is built like a horse, can pass beyond a poorly timed back pass under-pressure which has become synonymous with Taylor's game, and is uncompromising to say the least, makes me even more angry at the oversozed baffoon. If he had any ounce of respect for the side, he would've told the gather to toss the young lad in at his expense! |
