I don't think anyone has forgotton DJC. I think he will be a very good player for us next season, but we also need some other strikers to replace Sutton and the Hesk.

I am not sure......

I have seen no evidence to show me that he can score the goals we need to get back up.

Is he as good as Stern John? I don't think so but I hope he is.

I think he'll be good enough for a backup striker along with another, to play as 3rd choice behind Forssell and hopefully Cameron Jerome.

I personally think hes not as fast as people want him to be, and hes definately not strong

what - the same DJ Campbell who was going to save our Premiership status?

the only reason some might have forgotten him is because he hasn't, as yet, done anything worth remembering. let's hope now we're playing at a level closer to one he's used to he can show us why he was purchased....

DJ Campbell.
Nothing against the lad, but he just isn't good enough. His touch, strength, finishing, footballing brain, strike play, it just isn't there.

Trouble is he's unproven even at championship level so we can't say either way about him because there is no evidence to suggest he can or won't make it.
He has a lot of positive attributes and I hope he makes it but you do have to worry if he's got it in him to ever get enough goals to justify being a regular.
I'd be seriously worried if he starts next season as anything more than back-up, but hopefully in the long run he can go on and become first-choice.

Have to disagree with you there. His touch is good, his finishing is good (when given a good opportunity), and his strength is not to bad for his size.
I cant really comment on his footballing brain because i have not seen him play for a prolonged period of time.

DJC is worth a shot, his is small a nippy and so balls into space should work well, the same also applies for Forssell (appart from the small :D)

DJC will be an important player for us next season. I think he will be more suited to The Championship and a season in that league will do his development the world of good.
