They haven't made an offer for him. Hard to say who else is interested because no one will really come out and admit it. I would have thought quite a few premiership managers are interested though ... hopefully we stand strong as don't sell him!

at least if he WAS to go, the amount of clubs interested in him should hike up the price a bit

They have Lennon, so I can't see them wanting him.

According to the Mail, because the 7 players have been released we are saving £3 million in wages making it unnecessary to sell our 'jewells' Jermaine pennant and (uggh these are not my words, they're the mail's) Emile Heskey.

In my view we should keep him unless we get offers of £7million+ - and even then we should think carefully.

We shouldn't be reliant on him next season if we do keep him - we'll be too predictable and teams will just mark him out the game.
I wish Julian Gray would be a bit more consistent because all championship sides would struggle against two rapid wingers.

If Julian gray plays to his potential, Him and Pennant would kill the Championship.

I think it said the club has saved £8 million to £10 million on wages after releasing the players they did.
Pennant won't be going anywhere, no club will touch him because of his reputation

all i'll say is, whether we continue to release/sell players or not. we should have a shortlist of possible replacements for EVERY player, fit or unfit, in form or out of form, young or old.

selling Pennant with no quality player lined-up to replace him would be a disaster.

As far as most of us know ~ nobody has made us an offer for Pennant.

That's hardly a shock as the season only finished a few days ago, teams don't usually do much business at this time of the season.

I know what people say and what people actually do are two completely different things but the feeling i get from Jermaine's interviews is that relegation has hit him a bit harder than a lot of the other players and he would be happy to stay on for a season and help us get back up.

Only time will tell though, I sure hope he does.

I have heard that Liverpool are interested in Shaun Wright-Phillips for about £13 million, which would be great news for us!
