No.....

Fair enough, everything Kenny said rings true to an extent but I still think that Brucey can do it.

With a fit squad he got us promoted, we had one of the best defensive records in the Premiership the season before this, a man can't turn into a **** manager overnight!!!!!

I think the coaching is to blame, personally I think that I could do a better job of getting those players on form and then Brucey can get to work. You can't get an unfit team to play got football. I bet Steve was frustrated, he could have had better tactics and gameplan than Mourinhio but with a combination of unfit players, injured players and those without an ounce of passion he didn't have a hope in hell. With the right players in the right form he can get us to play how way did in 2004/5.

Its easy to jump on the bandwagon and blame the manager, I want him to stay simply to prove you all wrong!!!

I know I'm more of a reader than someone who posts all the time, but my eyebrows do go up when I see quite a few people who joined 14-18 months ago, only making their second or third post. Whats going on ?

And - YES

Katie

The problem is its Bruce's job to get those players fit. If he couldn't see it he should have instructed the coaches to get them fit. Mourinhio would have.

Its his players that were passionless. He bought them, he should have been able to get extra effort out of these players, as Kenny says, he couldn't as they had lost respect. Mourinhio would have.

We've been detriorating for over 18 months, and now ther truth behind it is coming out.

I admire your loyalty (kind of), but if the manager isn't accountable for the players' fitness, coaching and motivation what does he actually do ?

Quite.

The picture has got steadily worse, in every respect, for the past 18 months. I also like SB and feel sorry that he has not been more successful, but I feel the evidence against him is overwhelming.

He has to go, so that we can move on from this disaster.

Go.
