I'd rather have him as manager but like you said, he's got no chance after the slagging off he gave the board, maybe in years to come when we've got a new board

no way would i have him as manager. Yeah i have loved him being at our club.... but i don't believe we know half of whats going on. Kenny Cunnigham isn't half the captain that Roy Keane is or was or is ever gonna be.. Kenny whilst being a good defender is too quiet. This of course is what Bruce wants...someone who won't speak against him. Only now, now he's left does he have a snipe at the club... out of order in my book.

Pity KC did'nt say what he said a few months ago, he has said what every one else has been thinking.
KC is not out of order, SB is out of order by not leaving Blues.
BRUCE OUT NOW!!!!!

i think he was right, he had his say when he was at the club clearly, and it sounds like he's been chipping away for a while - he even had a go at sullivan recently didn't he? he 's not quiet, he keeps it in house amongst the people who should know. it wouldn't be right to come on here or to the press gobbing off would it? dunno about manager, but he aint short when courage is needed imo... ;)

i'd prefer an attack-minded manager, but for sheer professionalism, there is no-one greater than Kenny

Done a great job for us on the pitch but absolutely no credentials to be manager of this club at this time.

His outburst overnight was totally wrong.

It does no good airing dirty washing in public, it damages the BCFC brand, divides the club and, as he would well know creates unnecessary damage.

And as an employee for him to have gone public reflects badly on him as a professional.

He may have spirit, passion ability and the like - but this is totally unprofessional and he would know better.

Shame really cause he was a top player who provided BCFC with great service - sad he had to do this.

How is he outspoken ? This is the first thing he's said in 4 years. If he was outspoken he'd have said these things ages ago. He's just bitter because he didn't get a contract.

I am 100% certain that when Bruce hung up his boots a lot of people said

"deffo top manager one day"

Cunningham as yet does not have the experience to be a manager full stop.

He has told his side and because it was total food for the anti bruce brigade its been latched onto.

But its only the half of the story he wants to tell. I am not saying what he sais is incorrect, a lot of it appears right, but he makes critisisms where he does not know the full story (like why Clinton was sold) and more important he takes absolutely no responsibility either himself as club captain or on behalf of the players. However much at fault Bruce was not all the fault is their, some lies with the Board and players too.

Everything KK says is correct so hopefully the board will listen and realise that SB has to go before the club can move forward

Somebody from in the club had to say it, plenty of people have been saying the same things on here for months. Now its been said by an insider I hope the board will take note and get rid of Bruce.

Thanks for the memories but its time to go Steve, well done KK.

On KK as a manager I dont think so yet, hopefully Watford lose in the playoffs and we can go and pinch Adrian Boothroyd, top man IMO.

Not sure about manager but i think he would have made an excellent coach working with the young defenders and passing on what he knows.

Nothing to do with the fact that Bruce put a media ban on his players then?

Silly me.

And how do you know.

Many talented people in all walks of life are totally unable to pass on anything they know to anyone.

Manager is too soon, but he would make an excellent coach.

As for his 'outburst', hes done us a favour. Unproffessional would be to storm, off mid-season. Make a fuss, during the season via the press and generally undermine Bruce. Something which Kenny did not. He spoke about these things to Bruce, Sullivan and others powers that be, yet they were ignored. He tried to voice the players concerns about fitness, preperation, which we all saw as lacking, yet the manager chose not to address.

The players aren't blameless but considering Bruce and the board have made out they are the only guilty party, i can't see a problem in Kenny explaining his side of the story. Personally i don't think he was as scathing as he could be. It was a mild mannered article, explaining whats wrong.

As for embarrassing the Blues brand, it was only a week ago, Bruce was making us a laughing stock, mentioning striking players, and look at the fuss that made. - Kenny's 'revelations' aren't damaging at all. We've got more to come, if Bruce stays or goes, I assure you.
