Fair do's but what is it that makes you think he's a very good up and coming manager and that he will be very successful. He's done nothing that shows me that.
Because he built a very good team this time last year before the rug was pulled from under his feet and the players were recalled, unfortunately the replacements he managed to get in were not up for the fight.

KRO

Come on England

Sheffield Blue
I watched that team and you and I must differ on your 'very good team' comment'. I thought they were rubbish.
I agree that the performances were dire

Engleman

Anger management and behavioural observations to ensure we get as many red cards as possible

Aussie/Canadian

Lewis

The member of the back room staff who no one knows what he actually does

Blacksmith and Mo

The level heads to keep everyone else in check

Des

historian and trophy room curator

B25

Club / trust liaison officer

Kyle

Public relations

may I add

zxcv

Irritating man with the microphone on the pitch
greydog

Man of reason

I think you're gonna be pleasantly surprised next season Kev cause if the Birmingham Mail report is to be believed, Lee Clark and his player management staff in a triple "Geordie" push, are gonna be devoted to a more attacking style of football next season in a drive up the Championship league and from the recruitment of players made sofar seems to be on course! **thumbup :blues:

Pooley ~ why amongst all of the other roles am I selected for the unpleasant note?

Why do you need to have a go. Accepting your comment stays just abut inside board guidelines, it is not a good example of how this message board should be run.

Crikey Lewis, he's having a lighthearted moment. He's got me down as a fekkin' beancounter but I didn't moan, I just had a laugh at them all.

I'm just gob smacked he's still here.

He has the safest Job in football and its our rotten luck.

If our owners actually cared about BCFC they would have put him on his bike 12 months ago, but the bottom line is BIHL dont give a fekk.

Stuck and doomed with the clueless one

I'm pleased with the signings Clark has made. No superstars, but a group of lads who will be busting a gut to prove themselves. Plus we've got some decent competition for a change, so nobody will have an easy ride if they're not performing.

This will be Lee Clark's first season of having a team made up of his own players. If, after a decent period, things don't work out then I won't complain if fans call for the manager's head, but for the time being I feel we should get behind him in what he is trying to achieve.

LC was not my first choice to be our manager but I've always backed him 100%.

Blacksmith is right in saying he now has a team made up of his own players. I too will not complain if it starts to go awry but I believe he will come good so COME ON Lee and the boys for 2014/15 season.

Of course it was a joke, an unprovoked, uncalled for, personalized joke, at the expense of others. Yes I'm sensitive, and unusual beast having tremendous sensitivity, and tremendous ability to sideline irrelevant issue too. BUt that is not the point I am making here.

I mention the personal judgement joke, which you have just made worse by repeating the attack, because it, and it's like, form one element of what is bad about this message board. The fact that two people who are supposedly setting the standards for the board are the perps this time, makes it worse.

Notes:
1. You said sensitive soul as a put down. Think about it more clearly, and without the need to have a go at someone you bear a grudge against....people who are 'sensitive' have very high functioning senses. Nothing wrong with that, in fact it is a great benefit in life as long as that 'sensitive' person is able to deal with the emotions created by that sensing.

2. Think about the personal comments made by pooley and yourself in a honest and balanced way. Ask yourself, did that comment make relationships on the board better or worse?

I would prefer that this message board were one that encourages involvement, welcomes people rather than pushing them away and stimulates positivity about the club. But it seems there are certain people issues in the way of that. So maybe you need a relationship manager, or as I would term it a facilitator of good business. Happy to be that, and it is in line with my skills and experience.

& #some' don't understand the issue in fullness, and find that laughing at people is a cool thing to do, with no downside.

Some don't understand that laughing with people is fantastic and one of the joys of life, whereas laughing at people is damaging and will always have negative repercussions.

Ah well, that's life I guess.
