Any idea why there's no New Years Day fixture this season? The Prem teams still have it

Oh no, last game, Bolton AWAY. Will it go down to the wire again?

Not an easy game amongst them. This season is going to be real tough no time for the kids to get their footballing legs and certainly no time for LC to muck around. I reckon the bookies will have us to go down.

Yes, that's a bit odd

Also just wondering why Nottingham Forest and Fulham get to play their midweek home fixtures on Wednesdays when everyone else plays on Tuesday nights

To answer a previous post, Villa usually play their midweek games on Wednesday nights so their derby match with Albion will likely be moved to the next day and we will play Blackpool on the Tuesday

Probably just a computer glitch......it tends to throw up a few :banghead:

Grumpy lot, I'm excited, :dancer:
And me boilerman! **thumbup

Can't wait to see the new kick-off of the new-team with a new kit-on! :blues:
Engle, see what is happening? Its those that have talked themselves out of enjoying the game that are not looking forward to the new season. Maybe if they stopped moaning and putting the club Down all the time they might find time to support their team again.

Wonder if its anything to do with the fact Lee has put together what looks a decent squad and are afraid he might just be a tiny bit successful.

Better than spouting nonsense about an imaginary takeover!

I would guess that it's because the FA Cup 3rd Round is 3rd January (and if my memory serves me correctly one tie has to be played on the Friday night to satisfy BT or ITV)

That's what I thought but Prem teams will still have this problem?

6 midweek matches - seems a bit excessive
I prefer a midweek game so I'm quite happy with that.

I'd much rather take in a football match on a Tuesday night that I'd otherwise be spending at home doing nothing than having to write off a Saturday afternoon.

I accept not everyone will feel that way though.

I hope the first game is the furthest north away we can possibly be, so that I "can't go".

I wanna be at the Worcester Beer festival.

:drink:
Yessssss ... !!!

Anyone want next Saturday's winning lottery numbers ?

:drink:

I agree with this :applause:

I'll go to virtually ALL the night games like I usually do. A Few beers in The Anchor first :drink:

Saturday games at 3 0'clock I will pick and chose just like I did last season.

Much prefer the night games, not that I expect us to win any mind < <

Why make a daft statement like that when no-one has actually seen any of them perform together in Blue shirts yet

Give 'em a bloody chance FGS

I think Gleeson, Hall and Donaldson will turn out to be pretty good signings in all honesty .....and a player from the past campaign Novak will be even better this campaign

Renewed my Season Ticket last week and have just discovered I shall miss the first 4 games. Will they be available on 'I.Player'. Mind you me not being there means they will win them all

Millwall mid week again :banghead:
Reckon that's got to be down to the OB, as we always pay down there midweek. Being in that part of London, and with the distance involved, especially with it being a working day, means that time k.o. is a no-go straight away for a lot of people. You only have to look at all the previous fixtures over past seasons.

Yet they're happy to have Leeds and Cardiff at Millwall on a Saturday! We don't travel in decent numbers down to there at the best of times.
