Millwall were the most Improved side towards the end of last season. With Ian Holloway having the full summer in charge he will have them aiming for the top six imo.

We will finish bottom imo.

No Chance.

I'd sooner put that tenner towards a round in the pub before a game :drink:

Or I could put it towards Lee Clark's taxi fare the moment he is sacked.

...but if it came up that would be £660, enough to settle up your tab in the Wellington.

I'll certainly be taking a "wee each-way" bet on us.

The team is likely to be better than last season IMO**

** - don't think we had a "Team" last season - just a few random blokes putting on a Blue shirt each week.

There's nothing to say we won't be bought mid-season and have some investment for the January window.
I think we'll be a "mid-table" team with what we've currently got now.

I'm not even drunk (yet), but I'm actually an awful more positive about this season than last.

Gonna have to make a few more games this season!! :lager: :lager: :lager:

I've had my usual bet about 6 weeks ago. Don't know how, but I got 50/1 to win the league then. And 14/1 on promotion. So since we aquired 9 new players our odds on winning the league have dropped 16 points!!

On a serious note it makes me laugh how people take the odds seriously and link it to the real world of what will happen. Alan Brazil on TalkSPORT is a right thicko, he gets all excited or upset at the odds, as if they actually have an effect on a game.

You are right, odds are a guide line & sometimes way off the mark. I wonder what Wolves odds were for promotion the season before last! Bet they were one of the favourites to go straight back up. You would probably have got 100/1 for them to be relegated to League 1.
