A forum member has requested me to contact the club regarding the toilet facilities in the ground.

His points are:
No hot water
Weak water flow
Inadequate number of hand driers

I'd be grateful for some feedback on this.

Is it something that occurs throughout the ground, or only in certain toilet areas?
Do the women's toilets have the same problems?
If there are problems, where do they exist in the ground?
Are there any additional problems not mentioned above?

The toilets on the Tilton would be much improved if the one opening was used as an input and the other opening was clearly marked as an exit this would stop a lot of pushing and shoving and mean that the facility would work more smoothly

The toilets in the Kop have an in and out opening but everyone ignores them.

The ladies toilets on Kop/Tilton corner have had flooding problems for many years now. The club have tried, and failed. to sort it out. Before the match, everything is fine. But during and after the match, we have to negotiated flooded water in some of the cubicles, and most of the toilets are blocked.

I think - when they've been to try and sort the problem, they've looked at it before the crowds arrive. They need to visit the loos at half-time to see that it does still exist.

The Hygiene in the men's throughout the stadium is appalling, on a par with most motorway services, sadly some of it to do with how they are used. :(

Sometimes they are a joke. No water at all on occasion. And the hand dryers is definitely true. But if we do change them they need to be powerful quick to use ones. Not the type that cough lightly on your hand.

There must be other plumbing type bods( apart from me) on here who could sort this out. Its just basic plumbing.

The queuing at the Tilton is a joke though.

There is no hot water in the mens or ladies in the cop. 'So what' you might say, but as you exit them you are invited to purchase burgers and the like from catering. We went to Yeovil last year, (that small club in Devon!) one of the few away matches for us and their facilities put ours to shame. Quite frankly ours are a disgrace.

Eating a burger after a number 1 or 2 and not washing your hands is fine, it just adds a little extra spice to the taste

also how do you know it affects men and ladies toilets? So etching you want to tell us? If the gents is busy do you don a frock to try out the ladies? **thumbup

"They did also want to sell the fact that Bar 5 (in the Tilton) has had a new ‘multi dispense unit fast pour system’ installed, this pours 6 pints in 4 seconds. Apparently."
