Tennents is my favourite lager The Germans claim the best lagers in the world actually come from Germany.....Dortmunder Union,Spaten,Amstel and Carlsberg are my favourite lagers from the rest of Europe.....1st 2 are German but Carlsberg is Danish and Amstel is Dutch In North America it has to be Molson Golden and Moosehead (both Canada brews) Red Stripe (Jamaica) is a fine lager too Don't under estimate Budweiser or Coors........they get a bad rap from the British but actually contain more alcohol than many of the well known 'pub' lagers such as Carling and Skol |

Maybe something to do with the fact it's the biggest selling beer in the world As someone rightly said it has a crisp taste but many Brits don't like it because there's a lot of malt added to it........to be honest it gives me a headache usually but you can get a Lite version (lower carbohydrates NOT alcohol as some people are falsely led to believe ) The LITE beers in the USA are meant to be not so 'bloating' There's also an ICE version.........some kind of Cold Filtration system Budsweiser are the biggest re-cycler of aluminum (aluminium in the UK) cans and they were the first to introduce the "Born On Date" on bottles....that was a great idea because you can see the date when the beer was actually brewed....so if it's less than a month old you know you're getting 'fresh' merchandise The Anheuser Busch family bought Budweiser to America from Czechoslovakia and their other brews include Michelob and Busch (supermarket brand very cheap)......they are based in St Louis,Missouri but the beer 'capital' of the USA is actually considered to be Milwaukee,Wisconsin.....home of Miller and does anyone remember Laverne and Shirley ??? |

I have done, but tend to avoid those belgian beers these days as I end up in a world of hurt. They have the strength of wine, but you drink them like beer. I'm still partial to a Leffe Brun every now and again though |

And probably one of the most advertised. If you're talking American beers there can be only one - and that's Samuel Adams |

Yes,Samuel Adams is a very good ale but a little too bitter for me Not a great lover of Bud anyway (as I said earlier it tends to give me strong headaches) If I had to choose an American beer it would probably be either Coors Light or Rolling Rock |
