Fosters. I wouldn't want a warm one...infact, i wouldn't want a cold one...infact i would rather have a cup of tea! I don't like Becks either, it tastes like leather shorts and handlebar moustaches? |

Worst current Lagers Stella Carlsberg Fosters Bud Classic awful lagers Knights Lager (cellar 5 own brand) Breaker Special Brew Kestral Best Lagers Skinners Cornish Lager Corona Cobra Modelo Warsteiner (The Anchor serves this beautifully) Available abroad only: Lasko (slovenian) Antarctica (Brazil) Dorada or Tropical (Canary Islands) I bought some Skol the other week for the first time in 15 years - it's the perfect midweek lager. i.e, you can have a few and not suffer a hangover the next morning. Doesn't taste of much but given that I just want to burp, be refreshed and feel a slight tingle in my head, it fits the bill! I also quite like Carling - no nonsense dependable lager. |

now if you talking about rubbish beer then a pint of Chemical Smiths and Plastic Paddy Guiness really are the champions of poor beer etc. Genrally anything that is made for the masses is rubbish - Carling, Calsberg, Stella, Fosters, XXXX, Chemical Smiths, Worthlessingtons etc. I'm happy with a Cimay, Hoegarden or a n other trappist ale. I also like Sam Adams. How long left til i can get one? |

Got to admit that the lagers have improved a lot since I left Brum in 1989, have to put up with drinking creamy Guinness in Dublin..can,t touch the plastic crap they sell in Brum so I,ll have to go back to Lager when I visit in a few weeks to catch the Palace game. |

XXXX ( no that hasnt been censored, yet it could have as it tastes just like it) Fosters..... strange the way the aussie brands spring to mind, however they do redeem themselves with VB ... off to the garden with a cold one. Enjoy your day a work peep's :D |

Always makes me laugh the way people go on about the Guiness being great in Ireland. The Guiness you get in the UK is no longer made in London but............ DUBLIN!!! It's the same product!! |

A contradiction in terms surely sir? Guiness is okay if you've skipped breakfast and lunch and want to appear sophisticated and mature? But surely the taste of wet socks and tarmac should only be appreiciated in the emerald isle? |

Harsh. All the stout I've ever had in Ireland has been no worse than very acceptable. You still need to go to a micro though. Messrs. Maguires MMMMMMMmmmmmmm |

Theres eating and drinking in a good pint of Guinness..Guinness doesnt travel well but I havent tried a pint in Brum yet thats brewed in Dublin..one of the biggest problems with Guinness in England is you need a good flow with plenty of old fellas like me self drinking it but yes we do keep the best pints for ourselves!! Enjoy the dishwater you call beer though!!! |
