I'm looked to buy a new camera, needs to have good quality picture but also be quite small, pocket sized almost easy to carry about. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Price range around £150 max.

Why not just buy a new phone? The newer ones have excellent picture quality at high resolutions and are small enough to fit in your pocket.

Peronally swear by Olympus. I have a 3.3Mp 3020 which I've had for four years now, still great, maybe a little too big. My lady has teh Olympus mju, htat is a really neat fold away camera, good quality pics too.

Try tyhis link for prices, which you will probably be able to beat by searching around.

For once I AGREE with Wisel - the Canon (Ixius in my case) is a great little camera, got a picture printer free when I bought it

Thanks for the help, got my eye on the Olympus MJU 700 Orange now, looks a handy little camera.

As for buying a new phone, I’ve only had my Motorola SLVR for a few months which is a nice phone but the camera on it is shockingly poor.

On phones, I struggled for ages to update my clockwork Nokia 6310i phone which made phone calls very well, took advice of my daughter in law, who has a real knowledge for these things, upgraded to the Nokia N70, took about two weeks to get over my reluctance to get to grips with anything new fangled (this is a mobile phones thing mostly) and now I think it is brilliant. Even the camera has got me using it at times. Except for not having alarms on scheduled events which me old phone had, it is superb. Also got the new Nokia cigarette lighter fitting Bluetooth device, gives me perfectly adequate hands free funtionality for £45. Happy bunny again now. (used to have a fully fitted cradle in the old car, for the old phone, very difficult to part with.)

not sure about a decent camera - but compare any prices you get to the prices on www.pixmainia.com.

They were cheaper when I brought my Canon a400 (or a450 or something similair!).
