B25 I have just read it also. It is not good news however looking on the bright side they have got to pull their finger out to ensure we are sellable so I cannot see them letting us go into administration any time soon as they will walk away with nothing.

Every cloud etc........................

I just cant see us being sold for the prices that are mentioned. We dont have one player that is worth anything for starters and theres no way we will go into administration now that Zigic's wages are off the books.

Makes me wonder if we would have gone down last season it could have been for the better :(

utter nonsense B25, surprised at you! the club has no value its the potential that's for sale. whether we had went down last season or will struggle this year makes little difference to value.

that sounded a bit arrogant B25 wasn't meant to come out like that but anyone who wishes my team ill (like BNK) winds me up.

My thoughts are we the supporters would get more enjoyment with our current new squad in League One - we might win it. Administration and a retrospective point deduction may not be that bad.

the season ticket money is in, they're OK.

Our problem is that we have no heavyweights in the media or in the City. I would have hoped the Blues Trust would have flushed any out but obviously not. If we have no passionate supporter(s) in the media or the City then that's it.

BIHL will do what they want, when they want and as fast or slow as they wamt. No pressure, especially with the ST money in and the last parachute payment in.

no worries Des i will reply to this one..x

I like you would never wish any harm to BCFC.as for conjecture re ownership its an area you have repeatedly stated you have zero interest in,i'm quite the opposite but have to admit i wish it was not even an issue at all..To discuss ownership issues with someone who isnt interested is never going to go well, surely you see that Des ?

If we would have gone down at Bolton then BIHL would have lowered the asking price imo to something more reasonable.

This time next year we could well be in League 1 and have wasted a whole season.

We will always come back up eventually, sometimes you got to take a step backwards before you can take two forward.

A Group of 7 people derided and ridiculed that gets no genuine help or support yet when it suits are blamed for something that if indeed it had the help and support it could most probably achieve

Hi guys
I think we have to remember and focus on our heritage because we have been here from the beginning ( my dad left me a book about the beginnings of football published in the 1930s including the reasons of the split between Rugby and Football) and we have always the resilience to continue year in and out regardless what is thrown at us which is why we are the one only Blues.
Cheers

Am I the only one on here (I know I'm not BTW  ) who thinks, "Shed load of new players, financial day-to-day situation not too bad, let's see how we go this season"?
Before I get jumped on, of course I want to see new owners who are willing to invest in the team etc., but I can't see the need now for an immediate change.

Your wrong Engleberk a price has never been agreed and nor has a preferred bidder, Mr Wray was permitted to do due diligence and he himself then said it remained for them to agree a price. Having said that I could not agree in anyway with BNK comments and can not make any sense of them at all.

You're not the only one greydog. I'm optimistic about the new season ON the pitch and am keeping the faith with Lee Clark and the boys old and new.

I can't get me head around some fans thinking it would be good to have been relegated last season. ANY season relegation to me is NOT good. Tell that to everyone who was at the Reebok v Bolton on the last day, remember the joyous scenes at the final whistle?

OFF the pitch I'm not thinking it's grim reaper time but I've read here and elsewhere on the web shed loads of opinions/speculation and stuff from those supposedly 'in the know' and have come to the conclusion that NOBODY really does 'know'.

So. Best thing I can do is get to as many games as I can and support the team I love.

What all this Engleberk you zxcvanker...? :ph43r:
the evidence below is dated 7July 2014! *paper*

I asked you to try and keep up to date in my last reply to you, ..zz.. av you just woke up?

"A three-week period of due diligence was completed by the Soccer Management Worldwide (SMW) group by mid-June.

Day then told the Birmingham Mail they were ready to do the deal and a heads of terms proposal was sent to Hong Kong. The week after executive director Panos Pavlakis met with Wray at St Andrew’s to further the process.

But an agreement has still not been reached on the sale of the club.

BIHL have been seeking HK$ 400 million – £30.4 million – for their 96 per cent shareholding in Blues through Birmingham City PLC, a figure which SMW have been prepared to meet".

I think why I really don't give a flying one bout ownership is not only because I cannot influence it, but more importantly I (as you probably all know) was a massive fan of the old board and felt quite marginalised when so many (especially on here) kept posting negative stuff about them.

I suppose to sum it up I feel `be careful what you wish for` has became my byword.
None of the potential purchasers gave me any faith that they had the type of acumen that we had formerly under the Gullivans, who look as if they could turn the hammers into one of the top six most profitable clubs in the country after a series of financial masterstrokes!

anyway that's my last word on the subject, off to see Sir Tom Jones in Hyde Park and stopping over while the good lady wife whose birthday it is does some retail therapy on Monday.
