It was Boy Kill Boy who were very good and Graham Coxon, who wasn't!

Ye I saw Graham Coxon when he was supporting The Kaiser chiefs.
Complete and utter rubbish, no energy what so ever and kept making sarcy comments like 'your the best crowd we've ever had'
Just real boring. <_<

Best support Ive seen is The Grates(who are at Bar academy at the end of this month :D ) and Larrikin Love

I like the album, it's good.
I also saw them live and they've got a lot of improving to do in my opinion.
They shouted a lot, swore a lot and didn't have much variety.
To compare then to Paul Weller/ The Jam is a total joke.
I'll take a look in thirty years to see whether they've produced the depth and class of work that Weller has, only then will they deserve to be mentioned in the same post.

This is not to say I think they're crap, because in my opinion they've got promise.
If they remind me of anyone it's (only very slightly) early Clash.

It's telling that at the gig I saw, by far the best song was E=MC2, and Mick Jones wrote that.
I don't think it's a coincidence.
If that's where they're aiming at least they're in the right direction.
