Is there any chance the pro bruce and anti bruce supports can call a ceasefire....

Perhaps a good start would be for the pro-Bruce crowd to acknowledge that the anti-Bruce crowd are simply passionate Blues fans with a different view point, rather than questioning their loyalty. What do you think?

Bluenose 54
"Hope we LOSE to get BRUCE OUT !!!!!!! thumbup"

Personally i wouldnt call this person a "passionate Blues fans with a different view point"

I'd question his loyalty.

Maybe we should just ban the word Bruce from the messageboard, now that would reduce some of the hostilities on here. :P

On the other hand maybe he is extremely passionate. Ever heard of the doctrine of the lesser evil?

My guess is that Bluenose54's view is that short term pain would bring long term gain. Or the end justifies the means.

That may not be your philosophy - but it doesn't call into question his loyalty.

When one side adopts the moral high ground then the chance of reaching a concensus is low.

I'd say thers a fair chance that the players read these boards and any negative comments must filter through to them.

I'd say that there was a fair chance that if they do, they don't give a monkeys red bum that us 'ignorant fans' have an opinion. That was very plain to see from the pathetic excuse we received from Damien Johnson after he disgraced the shirt and the club a while ago

I wont comment more on Bruce you all know what i think of the man, i would just like to say i read the thread "I hope we lose so Bruce will go"

I have read the replies to this which range from a suggestion of banning the poster from the board to saying he is not a Bluenose.

Have any of you who replied in vociferous terms thought about how utterly depressed and hacked off with the situation at this club someone must be to say that??, i myself have thought along similar lines myself this year, so does that make me a Viler as well?

We now have threads saying "lay off Bruce etc" "we are all bored etc"

Dont some of you people think that there are people on the other side of the fence who are sick and tired of hearing " give him time" "give him till xmas" "its not his fault"

Cant we all just agree to disagree, after all this is a forum for debate, be it good or bad, and everyone has a right to express their opinions, we all have our differing views and nobody on this board should be telling people to shut up about anything.

A similar thing when TF left the club occurred, i wanted him out as well, judged purely on results and the playing situation at the time.

For me now is the same Bruce should go , not because i "hate" him or think badly of him, this is a results game and shouldnt be brought down to a personal level.

We all get judged on our performance at work through one way or another so why shouldnt Bruce be the same??

And as been said if people dont like what is being said quite simply dont read it!!!!

Wish I hadn't read that ~ but you can't tell till you've read them can you???

Additionally, all the things posted on here are in the main just opinions. Saying that everyone is entitled to state their opinions is like the most glaringly obvious comment made by a lifelong student of the University of stating the B*****g Obvious.

Hi Zambo, surfaced again eh? Is this your tour of duty or something?

Do you think all players are insensitive? Do you think they are all the same? Do you think it is OK to use your interpretation of DJs reactions as a rule of thumb to judge all players in all circumstances?

Wisel, that was a very sarcastic greeting. I realise that you don't like me posting on here, because any discussion we have ends up with you having a sore backside. However, I'm entitled to be here just as you are, to express opinions and debate issues.

With regard to your question, it is obvious from quotes from players and the manager at this club, that they do not believe that the majority of fans have the intelligence or football knowledge to be able to offer constructive criticism. It's a shame really though, because there has been some excellent stuff posted on here and other Blues forums which has pinpointed what has been wrong at Blues for a number of seasons now. And the bigger shame of course, is that the club, from the directors down, haven't had the balls to act on it. If they had, we would still be a Premiership side. In my very humble opinion of course

I said what I said & I stand by it ONLY to get Bruce out of St Andrews ... I am off with ALL you pro Bruce by saying he is doing a 'good job' ... I like to see him do a 'bad job'.
I want BCFC to be back in the Prem but NOT with Bruce in charge & at least I say what I mean NOT take one side one week then change the next like some of you do.

McSheffrey for sure

Agree All 3 Arsenal lads may be gone by season end....we might have a chance of signing Larsson

However Upson,Jaidi,N'Gotty,Kelly,Jonty,Dunn,Maik Taylor,Forssell,Clemence,Kilkenny,Sadler,Painter and Nafti ALL have PL experience.....

Still undecided about Danns and Jerome ....they need time to prove themselves

DJ Campbell,Martin Taylor,Julian Gray and Tebily have already proved thay ain't good enough for the Prem so hopefully they will be gone by season's end too

Let's put it this way a coach like Alan Curbishley would certainly sort it all out ...on that I'm sure

There goes your fantasy world again.

It was meant as a pleasant welcome back as you seem to be a stranger on these pages these days, so if anyone was running with tail between legs, it certainly wasn't me, ever, now was it??.

You didn't answer one of my questions. Mind, that's not really a surprise is it???

Here's another, right up your street. What did you think of the referee today?

Sadler did well today and is growing in stature all the time. Jerome looked really sharp and powerful when he came on. Jaidi played very very well. McS, Kelly, Larsson, Naffti, Kelly had good games today.

If it hadn't been for one of the most appalling referees I have ever seen we would have won it, narrowly, but we would have got a deserved win. We seem to be getting better gradually. Their keeper should not have been on teh pitch to make the four or five brilliant saves that he did. Just appalling refereeing.

If the moon was green we would win the cup. I think it is about time we changed our name to Ifonly City.

Here is another one for you, if we changed our manager perhaps we wouldn’t have so many IF ONLY’s in our after match reports.

So now it's the referee who's to blame - I suppose you'll still claim that the supporters aren't good enough.

Face it - The one common factor running through 04/05, 05/06 & 06/07 seasons is the manager.

Wisel IMO The supporters are good enough, the players are good enough, the referees are generally good enough, it's the manager that's not good enough.

Tell me if his immediate successor at Wigan can take them to the Premier whilst spending just over £13 million in 5 yrs, cannot SB having spent nigh on that sum this year alone put together a team and I stress that deliberately, that can beat the likes of Leicester.

I have my opinion I'd just like to know yours.
