Can Anyone Remember; an easy, relaxing game?

I was talking after the game on Saturday and saying I can't remember a game for years where we always knew we were going to win, with some time to play.

Even the Portsmouth game was 3-0 up until about 88 mins and we could have been behind at H/T when we went in 1-0 up.

Can anyone remember, for instance, it being half time and you knowing we were going to win and not even thinking "Yeah, but this is Blues. We can still lose" ?

There was a game in the Prem that stood out,it was a Tuesday night game....during our best season 2003/04

The 3-0 drubbing of Everton with Stanley Lazaridis scoring an absolute belter

Never looked in any danger of dropping points

Since the beginning of the 2004/05 season we have become very boring to watch and very very predictable and most of the players we had signed while being in the PL have either failed to produce or been hugely disappointiing....and that includes Pennant who was often inconsistent....the 2-1 home defeat to West Ham quickly followed by the worse ever performance by a Blues side in decades at Man City the following week plus the shambolic displays in the FA Cup against both Torquay Utd (who were unlucky not to beat us) and Liverpool sum it all for up for me

Under Bruce and Black...this club is spiralling .....says it all when you have to go back two and a half years to remember an outstanding performance

It was all getting very interesting until the post spiralled on its head to a Bruce out post.....again.

agreed daz, and one of the reasons i tend to stay off blues chat - we all know there's astrong sb out campaign on here if not in the ground, but why can't some threads just be treated for what they are, genral interesting questions?? <_<

I remember most of the games last season, where we were losing at half time, thinking thats it! Another 3 point s down the drain.

The moment the ball hit the back of the net having skidded off Enkleman's stud! Was never any doubt that night after that...

What's really boring is that too many people on here these days have a HUGE lack of respect for the opinions and views of other Blues fans

Every single thread is related to 'Bruce Out' it would seem ...well,if we listen to the 'Bruce In' Brigade, I guess

Now I wonder why that is ??

How did you hi-jacking my thread and me commenting on it make me show a HUGE lack of respect for the opinions and views of other Blues fans?

For your information, I'm neither Bruce In or Bruce Out at the moment but just thought I would try to start a thread to lighten the mood a little.

It did for a while.....
