I find it had to believe on here that some of you (Willie Tuggy) have to take the 'wee' out of former players like Claridge

Whenever I have seen Claridge on TV as a pundit he comes across as someone with a sense of humour and would probally laugh at any joke comments, I bet he has been called alot worse by the missus, former managers, team mates etc.

Claridge would be OK as a 'forward' coach ONLY when SB has gone.
Every think at BCFC is revolving around SB & again I say it will NOT go away till SB goes away.

Well what can i say except have you ever met Claridge? Because i have and he would laugh at comments like that as unlike some he has a sense of humour.

maybe i should have added "Bruce out" or some other neagtive comment..

He scored 20 goals in a second rate league.
Lets not let emotion cloud judgement on what can at best be described as a 'journeyman' career

A journeyman career that included promotion to the Premiership and a Coca Cola Cup winner's medal. In fact, he scored in both the play-off final and the Coca-Cola Cup final.

Not bad for a journeyman. I could name so-called "star" players who never won a cup winner's medal - Hasselbaink being one obvious example.

But to reiterate - he was a good player, but would not be my choice for a coach or manager at Blues.
