Pardew? I though that if SB were to leave we would be looking to move forwards, not backwards. Pardew has achieved no more and significantly less than Bruce so far.

You seem to have failed to notice that West Ham reached the FA Cup Final last year and qualified for the UEFA Cup whilst retaining their Premiership place finishing 9th (1 place higher than SB has ever managed) with Alan Pardew as manager.

or is it me who failed to notice our soaring league position, cup triumphs and European adventures under SB?

Pardew was successful because of West Ham's youth team.

The youth team is a seperate responsibility, and I doubt we'll be bringing through an Anton Ferdinand or Reo-Coker any time soon.

Nothing stands out about Pardew, but I've never worked with him so I have no clue as to what ideas he'll bring with him.

This is the latest information i have been given about a few of the vacant jobs.

Before anyone starts i dont make a habit of posting random rumours on message boards and i only pass on what i know is from an excellent source.

In short this is what i have been told

Curbs to West Ham
Bruce to Norwich
Pardew to Blues

West Ham are extremelt unhappy about their start to the season and Pardew is not confortable with the potential takerover deal and the way the Tevez transfer has been set up. The current owners want the best possible return on their investment and will get rid of him before the results affect the market value of the club.

Bruce has a history with Norwich and although he did refuse to play for them towars the end of his career there in order to secure his dream move to Man U, the current Norwich board feel that bruce can get them out of this situation.

Finally that leaves Pardew to Blues. The board see him as the best solution out there. They saw what he did with a team of young fit players last season and want him to do the same here.

I would be fairly happy with that set up.

Absolute rubbish - unless you can come up with your concrete evidence for this dont waste our time posting your fantasies....

I'm stunned that after 11 posts you feel the need for such a post.

I can't imagine you talk to people like that in real life.....

Ok, I don't ask you to be specific in mentioning names, because I wouldn't expect that you would. But where/who is your excellent source? A player of Blues, an agent, an association with someone in the press, David Gold's Tea lady??

As i say, you dont need to mention names, but you can answer the above question without incriminating anyone.. So who is it then?

Credibility..

hmmm - Isn't it early days yet - seem to remember that line or something like it being bandied about on here around this time last year.

It's even being said this year.

If you're going to apply it to SB then you've got to apply to all managers :)

West Ham have lost 5 games in a row and are currently 13th in their table...
Blues have lost 2 games all season and are 2nd in their table...

Same difference, eh? Hypothetically speaking

Thank you SA4E for sharing your information. I believe that you post rumours only when there is a chance of them becoming fact. I imagine that some action will happen in the not to distant future.

AP wouldnt be a bad shout, he did a great job at Reading before he went too west ham. But is he really any better than SB?

No.
At West Ham he had a fantastic youth set-up that he has utilised very well.

But in my book he is the same level as Steve and Mark McGhee - with the same level of integrity and loyalty.

No thanks.

Well apparently the West Ham takeover is off now because Pardew threatened to walk out if it went ahead. Doesn't look like he'll be getting the push any time soon.

or they will sack him and then continue with the take over, :D

i find that astounding , why would he want to leave unless he knows he'd get the sack from the new owners.

Hammers 'set to discuss takeover'

West Ham could be set to decide on Wednesday whether a planned takeover of the club will be given the green light.
The Hammers' board is set to meet to discuss the viability of a reported bid by a consortium led by Iranian businessman Kia Joorabchian.

"It is understood the issue of a takeover is going to be on the agenda of the main board meeting," said BBC Five Live's Gordon Farquhar.

"The board will make a 'put up or shut up' demand on the consortium."

He added: "The club will want a firm offer from them in the next two weeks and proof they have the money and also an acceptable business plan."

Farquhar said he did not believe that West Ham were set to abandon plans of a takeover because manager Alan Pardew had threatened to walk out, as reported in Wednesday's newspapers.

"I don't buy the Pardew thing. This deal is worth at least £80m just for value of the ground and buildings. And if Pardew is told by any prospective buyer he's got millions to invest in the team then he may change his mind," he added
.
