Anyone get this from the Guardian. It's a very light-hearted take on the day's football news, which is quite welcome as so many people take it so seriously. Like who would give 2 hoots if Ian Wright turned up on Saturday to give half time rants not in a suit. Anyway, I digress. They reckon that Blues or 'Bongo FC' as they call us (!) are after none other than the Frenchman, Bernard Diomede: It was in the rumours section, so don't know how much truth there is in that..... "And Bongo FC are sniffing around Bernard Diomède, the World Cup-winning Liverpool legend who is unemployed, training alone in a public park in Paris and open to offers from anyone except George Michael." |
