Listening to this programme i'm wondering who's in the minority anti Brucers or Pro Brucers. I think the Pro Brucers are in the minority IMO from what i'm hearing.

Sadly this station is Wolves mad, however, they do allow people time to have their say and voice their opinion. Perhaps Dross should take note and maybe he'll reverse his declining audience figures.

Bruce out.

'Fraid not. I think the next fans forum is just before Christmas. 'til then I'll just keep writing the usual weekly regurtitated rambling although the book is now being looked at by some people. Not sure they've opened it yet but they are looking at it! I could ask Joe to do a critical review, he loves my stuff.
Paul Franks is a very enthusiastic and approachable guy. WM suffers a bit from the old view that BRMB covers Blues and viler and WM, the Wolves, Baggies and Walsall. I think you will find it has balanced out over the last few years with the main difference being that WM are prepared to criticise and accept alternative views whereas BRMB almost appear scared to have a go at people in authority in our local clubs even when deserved. There has to be balance although having said that some will always prefer BRMB and some WM, that's just the way folk are.

Capital is Birmingham Based Listeners - Brum

WM is West Mids its as simple as that - Brum, Wolv, Walsall, West Brom, Dudley etc

Too my knowledge at WM

John Platt sports is Blues
Mike Taylor - WBA
Paul Franks - Wolves
Malc Boyden - WBA
Prob vile as well somwhere in there.........cant see a problem really

I feel that brmb/xtra/capital has become 3rd rate as a football - sports station, over the years, anyone with any sporting presentation talent leaves..... must be a problem or lack of future .............................unless your name is Tom :silence:

Cheers Daz, one of my critisiums? of Tom Ross's show is that he/they seem scared to ask tough questions of the clubs managers and boards, preferring to kiss their butts rather than ask why they never invested in the manager in Jan or sack him, after all its suppossed to be a reflection of the fans feelings.

I live in North Shropshire and can only pick up WM in the car so I listen to it a lot. I think they are fair to Blues but I do think Franksy is a Wolves fan.

Maybe something to do with Birmingham & Vile advertising on BRMB & Capital.

The Radio station do not want to criticise paying advertisers. This is why ITV suffer in TV world.

The best & most honest shows are BBC based as they answer to nobody.

Topgear is sold worldwide & is worldclass due to it being able to sl*g off rubbish cars. No other station can quite be as honest as the Beeb.

Watchdog is another that sticks the knife in to corporate companies.

It is no suprise that WM has a more rounded view, as they don't have to look after advertisers.

I gave up on BRMB earlier this season, when it took Tom Ross 5 minutes to realise Sunderland goal was dissallowed for offside, if I hadn't got Skysports News on too, I would have been gutted. I think he was the only person in the stadium that thought the goal stood. The guy is a muppet!

Trying to make every game sound a barnstormer, I hate the squealing every time the ball gets in the penalty area! "Oy Ross calm down you big girls blouse"

Used to go to school with Malcolm Boyden, bloody kills me when i hear his fake black country accent, believe me he spoke nothing like that at school, anything to get on the radio, still makes him sound more of a Boggie i spose.
