Every time I have emailed the club I have received an answer - sometimes within minutes..even if it is initially only an acknowledgement of my query - this has then always been followed up by a comprehensive reply.. |

Yes I have tried to, on several occasions, but I have never even received an acknowledgment to one of my e-mails or letters let alone a reply. I also expended my time going to one of the none renewal season ticket meetings which frankly was a waste of time, admittedly partly because people just kept asking the same question and making the same point. In general they were happy to hear the complaint but just offered the ‘party’ response papering over the obvious cracks and shortcomings of these explanations. They also then promised the earth and a radical change to the style and level of football, none of which has happened. Basically the club have a set way of how they want to do things / what they think is the right way to run the club and get upset with criticism. There is now an aura around the club where the fans know their feelings will be ignored so what is the point of complaining which leads to the feelings of why should I pay good money to watch the same mistakes happen week in week out especially when my opinion counts for so little. To be honest for the last 18 months the board as well as the manager have got things completely wrong. In my view they are still doing so. They really are not doing the things I would expect of such accomplished businessmen and have taken a very bullish attitude which will only further alienate the disenfranchised section of the supporters. I have a feeling they may be taking this stance out of guilt but whatever the reason we need more conciliation and bridge building, not confrontation. |

but that i suppose depends on what you put in it does'nt it. you yourself are a backer of SB and the club in general so you may well get an answer from them. but manyfriends of mine have been critical so it may be case of just ignoring it. i myself cant give an answer to this as i have never personaly righten to the club. |

Go on then tell me which e-mail address you manage to get replies to? Or maybe you get replies because you say nice things and never criticise. As someone who has tried on several occasions over the last 18 months to politely point out the problems I have never even received an acknowledgment. |

Tevets, all i can say is sometimes email is not the answer,If BCFC are like other companies they have one contact point who then passes on those emails to the respective depts, it is the people in those depts who decide what is and what is not worthy of an answer. So if you complain about the prices the email will be passed to the commercial dept who are unlikey to pass on your concerns to the board are they as they would be showing themselves up. sometimes a good old fashioned letter addressed to the md's secretary works far better than anything. address it to the md they are unlikey to see it, but their secretary is more liley to pass it on. ;) |

Willie,do you work for the club or is everything they do ok with you.We as fans can moan all we want, other clubs fans do it so we are no different .You must think it ok then that we gave up our prem place without a fight and we now have to play a more defensive game to scrape a 1-0 win to beat clubs that we should be putting to the sword, after all Cardiff,Preston and Burnley seem to manage it better than us.I hate watching our football at the moment,it is so negative and am glad I can not afford it today agansit Barnsley BUT i HOPE THE BOYS PROVE ME WRONG AND THRASH THEM 5-0 AND i WILL BE THE FIRST ONE TO SAY "WELL DONE" BUT i CAN'T SEE IT HAPPENING. |

No i don't work for the club, nor do i think that everything they do is right, Who said it was ok to give up the place in the prem in the way we did......
Could it be that they are more accustomed to this lge... I find it puzzling that despite having not played too well yet, in some cases we have been awful yet we are still 2nd. If we can just find the extra and kill off teams we will be ok. |

After going to most of this seasons home games and as an ex season ticket holder I can safely say the difference in class between the prem and the Championship is immense, hence we are getting away with more which is why we are second equal without every really playing well. I too share your hope of seeing us step up a gear but I think it is probably a forlorn hope. Under Bruce, and the way he sets the team up, we will only ever grind out results. He has never managed the transition to more attacking tactics and after this length of time I doubt he ever will. You never know though, we may have one ‘Portsmouth’ type game to look forward to this season. |
