It should be 25,000 given the prices are more reasonable - but I doubt it'll be more than 21,000.

I hope those people who claim that the everyday prices are too much turn up for this one. The Board have listened but they're not going to be to keen to do it again if the seats stay empty.

Yeah exactly. Come on it could be a good game, hopefully a few goals, especially seeing as we saved all our best players for the big match of the week

18,000 .....totally agree

Picture this though....if some-one of the calibre of Alan Curbishley should take over we'd be attracting 26,000 plus regularly

Why ??...the players would be expressing themselves more,we'd be attacking more and we'd most likely be winning more frequently....plus we could look forward to the January transfer window with more confidence ...and the Anti Bruce Brigade would be back in force regardless of cost, they would see that as a sign of the club going forward again

Let's not kid ourselves about the recent magic run........Albion could have beaten us,and we were more than fortunate to beat Derby (pinball machine type goal six minutes from the end) and Plymouth who had by far more of the possession in each game

Coventry ??...well they couldn't hit a barn door all night ......Stern John being the best example.....and wasn't he Steve Bruce's FIRST ever signing for Blues ??

Nuff Said !!! :banghead:

Barnsley Gate?

I thought somebody had uncovered a plot to pay off the ref or something when I read the thread title but then when I opened it I realised it was just another attempt at a SB out thread.

Silly me, I should have guessed.

work on the assumption they are all sb out threads in blues chat - there is always someone who turns it that way regardless of the intention of the thread originator...

It would seem as if we have lost about 5.000 home fans from our gate this season, plus the away support is a lot less in this league, about 1.000/1.500 less, so take off 6.000/6.500 from last seasons gate figures hence we should be getting in about 21.000/22.000 people per home game.

Oh, I forgot, we seem to have closed the 2 blocks in the Kop next to the railway stand too, so take another 1.000 off that figure.

My seven year old son will be attending his first ever game tomorrow. I had to bribe him with the promise of a packet of Jelly Babies and to let him play on his Nintendo DS if he gets bored.

Hopefully it will be a cracking game that gets him hooked for life.

Good luck mate, when I first took my son he spent the whole game looking at the sky, which he found far more interesting than the game. 6 years on and he is only now just getting into it! It took hard work to make him a Bluenose

I should think a lot of people will pay on the day, I would expect about 22k, but it doesn't matter as long as the people there get right behind the lad's. **thumbup

The 1st time I took my daughter she said ''I liked it Dad but I won't need to come again.''

She's on her 5th season ticket now.

I guess some people, faced with consecutive home games may choose the Wolves game instead.
