i personaly think grey is a good player but he's not interested anymore.
over the last couple of seasons we have seen alot of players become like this.
seemed to start around the time of bowen left.

IMO letting Bowen go was the biggest mistake Blues made, not all that sure if we had too much choice in the matter, as i was working away at the time of the Bowen savage saga, but we have never been the same since, bruce is not the same manager as he was with Bowen as his 2nd. i know this has all been said before but hey ho. I think gray still could be good but he's got nothing to aim for, he'll never be picked over mcsheff or larssen so whats he got 3rd choice in a currently championship side when he was tipped for greatness, id be a little low aswell!! im sure his wages compared to mine make up for it though!! :P

Putting my psychologists hat on here, whenevr i watch Gray play, the body language he gives off is of someone with absolutely no confidence in himself, hes probably terrified to try anything because the crowd react so negatively to him. He undoubtably has great ability, the first couple of times i saw him i thought wed got a real gem of a player, but its all gone sour. To compound this, he has a sort of disinterested look about him at times, im sure thats not the case but it just adds to the crowds frustration with him. Im pretty sure itll never happen, but i wonder how differently hed perform if the crowd really got behind him and encouraged him even when he ****** up, true of all players but especially someone like Gray who is obviously a confidence player and needs the proverbial arm around him to help him perform.
Totally agree with you and all of the comments about Julian needing support, he was a very good prospect player and im absolutely positive that if the fans gave him some support and just got off his back then he would regain his confidence and some of that sparkle he once had. Im not saying that its the fans fault or that Gray is blameless for the crowds reaction to him, but i just believe that he could still be a really good player for us with his confidence back. Fingers crossed eh. KRO
true he may be a good player yet, but this is the Blues fans we are talking about, they wont get off his back until he has proven himself, just like Bruce before his string of league wins. I think if he wants to further his career he should leave

I have a nightmare vision in my head, Gray goes to somewhere like Fulham or Charlton and immediately starts to peform to his maximum potential, becomes a crowd favourite, gets into the England squad and eventually wins a big money move to maybe Spurs where he continues to perform at a level we could only dream about, a bit like AJ only Gray has real talent. If this were to happen, it wouldnt just be Bruce and the coaching teams fault, it would be the fault of every supporter that didnt get behind him here. Its our collective responsibility to make our players feel wanted and to really get behind them, i know it can be frustrating at times but we as supporters need to much more positive. KRO!!

So hes proved himself?
Absolutely ridiculous statement
He proved on Wednesday how far our team has improved since he took over.
Not one iota.

A half-hearted player who's attitude stinks the place out, content to pick up his wages for zero effort, a massive contributor to our relegation - Not fit to wear the shirt ever again imo.

I agree.
Julian just needs to be told he CAN run past players and get the crosses in.
He has the ability to do that. It's just you can see he is too timid to do it! You wish he'd just GO FOR IT!
Support Jules =]
More confidence would lead to better performances.

oooo i agree that he is a very poor tactician and i disagree that it was poor competition, coventry are no easy team, and wba would have been out to beat us as we are some of their fiercist competition for promotion. What if we slaughtered burnley tomorrow?

Fingers crossed eh. KRO
true he may be a good player yet, but this is the Blues fans we are talking about, they wont get off his back until he has proven himself, just like Bruce before his string of league wins. I think if he wants to further his career he should leave
Bruce before his string of league wins  So hes proved himself? Absolutely ridiculous statement He proved on Wednesday how far our team has improved since he took over. Not one iota.
well to some fans he has proved himself, i thought i should give him a break and he's won a few, if he ends uup top at the end of the season what would you say?
What would i say? if you think 4 wins against poor opposition is enough to wipe his slate clean then fair enough, I dont want Bruce as a manager whatever he does, i think he is a poor manager, rubbish tactician and when he slagged the fans off that was it for me, i want him gone. End of
oooo i agree that he is a very poor tactician and i disagree that it was poor competition, coventry are no easy team, and wba would have been out to beat us as we are some of their fiercist competition for promotion. What if we slaughtered burnley tomorrow?
Now that my friend would do for me if we slaughter Burnley tomorrow, I will be bowing to Bruce!
By the way its Barnsley

KRO
