They do themselves no favours at times.

Don't know how many saw it, but in th ewarm up about 20m before kick off, a ball was kicked into the crowd, the lad who caght it immedaitely ran down the nearest tunnel, and must have secreted it in the bogs or somewhere. Then later they were playing keep ball when another ball went into the crowd. Maybe they are short of amusement up scouseland?

I saw a lad after the game proudly sporting one of the nalls that had been nicked.

Weirdos.

i'm actually of the opinion that any ball kicked into the crowd should be fair game, at prem and cc level anyway. with all the money being thrown into footy, surely the clubs can afford the odd £40 ball? imagine the delight on some young kids face if he got one.... ;)

I agree, it would be a real keepsake.

There are a lot worse things they could be getting up to! :copno:

I would have thought that the stewards should be wading in there to get it back.

I didnt see the one before KO, so over all them scousers stole 3 that I am aware of. Yes of course the club can afford it but out of principle they should be made to give them back. The liverpool players should have thrown their training tops to the kids or somethink like that.

They do themselves no favours and they have their reputation for a reason

Do you think that we should give all the ones that we had away from Elmdon training ground back in the day then? They may be a but deflated by now though...mind you that's nothing compared to the way I feel about it all.

The away team has traditionally provided the matchball as far as im aware,so they only nicked from their own anyway and as for scousers well the away end wasnt very scouse at all more like west midlands and wales from what i heard.

But when is theft called theft?! Or are we all compromising on what is right?

Look at the state of the nation now we don't have moral absolutes.

Ah, but one thing leads to another. Steal a ball and get away with it, so a kids thinks he can shoplift and get away with it. A packet of smarties leads to a hi-fi, etc.

Please don't make light of such things. I'm just tring to make a serious point.

Still - KRO!

we bumped into a few before the game & they wasn't very nice... they thought my brother was on his own and decided to say something to him!! they soon sped off when they realised there were a few of us... leaving 1 of their mates behind! he thought we were going to jump him... he ended up walking with us to the ground shaking our hands as we told him real brummies aren't like that

there are good and bad in all walks of life... I'm sure a few balls have gone missing in the blues end in the past ;)

Remember when they used to get passed around the old Kop and then disappear in the middle of a game ? Great fun, those were the days

Well, I suppose if theres no reason to complain about blues fans this week, why not start on another club's fans ?

How many balls ever came back from the Kop when we were all standing there?

:D
