Well we got 3pts so good. The kick and rush i saw was NOT football,First min bendtner walks round the keeper then what a MISS he had a shocking game,Anyone who rates jerome ahead of dj as a goal scorer you dont know your football im talking about this season only,Crowd as poor as the football 19,000 on a lovely afternoon good prices for once and i fear next sat v wolves will be maby 21-22,000 ,The only good things today was the form of Muamba and tiny but the best thing was the band at half time, they did what the team couldnt which was bring the fans to their feet,Im still happy we are joint second and WILL finish as champs because this is such a poor league K.R.O. feed.back |

Put on your tin hat, but I think you will pick up many people who agree with you along the way. Somebody has to tell it as it is Larsson has cemented his place for a long time. Would like to see Gray given a chance left side midfield, then McSheffrey could play up front from the beginning. Apart from that one change I think today SB put out his strongest 11. Bendtner needs to see the bigger picture when he goes on a run, his miss was down to him not having a left foot. How did he attract Arsenal if he hasn't got two good feet I ask myself, they will probably work on him. Clemence, Tiny Taylor, McSheffers, Sadler all **thumbup |

i was at the game (Kop block 28) and to be honest the only positive thing about the game (other than the 3 points) was the defence. strikers were terrible and the midfield was worse. i took a look at the the match program and there was not one name i recognised on the barnsley team sheet - no disrespect to them but they are a team of nobodys. we could...no....SHOULD have rolled them over. yet again blues made hard work of it. don't get me wrong, im glad we got the points. sadler, taylor(s) and Jaidi were fantastic. but there was just no presence in the midfield, particularly in the 2nd half as legs started to get tired. If blues are to get automatic promotion we are going to have to improve because a better team i.e cardiff, preston, west brom would have beaten us today. simple as that. rant over. |

The defence was solid and Maik, Muamba was class and got some excellent tackles in, Mcshef and Bendtner were poor today i thought, but McShef has been excellent all season so he is allowed the odd poor game ;) our football is not convincing or consistant enough :( another 3 points and clean sheet though but very iffy "football" :drink: |

I think we need an experienced forward to take the weight off Bendtner and maybe help him develope his game and teach him how to bring other players into the game. We also need a replacement for Dunn. and a left back, |

Are you talking about those better teams.... cardiff that scraped a 1 - 0 win at home, Preston who couldnt score and win against Southend and West Brom who lost 1 - 0 at home. Ummm. |

We're doing what we did best in the Premiership when we did well. Building from a solid base. Taylor (both of them) looked perfectly comfortable for the entire match today, and Muamba was a beast in the middle of the pitch. We just need to be smart with Bendtner, today he should've come off because he was getting nothing going his way and he looked like a kid with the world on his shoulders. He's only young, he's still learning and he'll have games like that. A win is a win, and if we keep restricting sides to as few chances as they had today then we'll keep on winning. |

The only thing i can really add, is that what i saw today was a typical Blues performance under Bruce. Solid defence, little creativity in attack but the most important thing, was the determination and battling qualities on show..... I don't care too much for the performance, as its the result that matters. I share the concerns of others regarding our football style at times and how hard we seem to make life for ourselves, but i'm keeping optimisitic that as the season progresses we will start to improve...... The main thing is we have a solid and settled back four now, and thats the key to winning games IMO....... Pity we can't keep Muamba, he's been awesome of late...... |

not happy at all mate, still going down because they are my team and I was foolish enough to buy season tickets, but there are so few positives from the attitude of our board and manager towards us the supporters, right down to the actual support in the ground, it is lifeless. Today's game was mostly like watching paint dry, turgid stuff, bizarre substitutions I really am losing my appetite for saturday afternoons and am less than enthusiastic about freezing cold night games in february |

how could you not see that the midfield played out of their skins today - Muamba was man of the match - clemence played excellently giving 100% effort for the whole game - Larsson put in some awsome crosses and Mcsheffrey well not as good as usuaual but still chased every ball and scored an excellent goal...POOR Midfield - I think not! |

Good to get another 3 points but still the same old dross performance. The superlatives used on here such as 'awesome', 'brilliant' and 'superb' are ridiculous. Let's face it, the defence and midfield were 'sufficient' to contain a very poor Barnsley side that, even so, were unlucky not to get a point. For some weeks now, Bendtner has not performed to his original promise and has now even started to throw tantrums, emulating some Premiership prima donnas blessed with far greater talent than himself. McSheffrey has followed Pennant's example by drifting inside instead of staying on his flank, leaving an acre of wasted space on the left and an overall unbalanced formation. Jerome does look 'busy' but it doesn't look like he is going to do much of what he's paid to do - score goals. As this was never a problem for him last season, I find it difficult to blame him. The lack of the most basic passing ability from the whole team, combined with hoof-ball tactics, ensures his goalscoring opportunities are minimal. Oh well! The 3 points and third place will please the ostriches. Enjoy it while it lasts... :) |

i thought the three points gained is all that is important, well it is to me. watching my team win, no matter how is all that is important to me. Danns came on IMO, in an attempt to protect the three points, could have backfired but didn't and Danns secured the win. Onto the next game. **thumbup |

perhaps now fans will see what we meant at the staryt of the season that this was a pig of league to get out of and thats the way its panning out, did fans really expect to win these games 4 or 5 nil every game, wake up time, another 3 points on the board ,thats all that matters at this stage, the football will come later. |
