Ok I'm Still Undecided; I'm truly stuck on the fence

I don't know whether to stick to my Lorales and stay against Bruce... I'm on Both sides of the fence.... ouch I know ...

On one hand we've won 5 in the league on the trot, without conceding, 6/7 wins in all competitions, the only loss being against liverpool.... and that was 1 nil. Our back 4 is playing out of their skins, Martin Taylor had abviosuly sold his soul to the devil for talent and Jaidi is winning EVERYTHING in the air.. Maik Taylor is playing arguably his best since coming here in 2003...... Fabrice Muamba is showing the potential to be one of the worlds best players in the future, at only 19 and stephen clemence had been reborn.. theyre as solid a central midfield you will ever see.....

But like I say I'm not the sort of person to be fickle like that, 6 games ago I was calling for Bruce's Head.. you may remember my Thread after the loss to Norwich.... I genuinly felt like that and was mighty pi**ed off.... Im not going about now saying BRUCE OUT at all times.. and theres apart of me that wants to be on his side... but the way I see it is, 6 games does not make up for 2 and a half years of bulls**t... maybe I should pretend the last 4 years never happened and completely rejudge him.. but that would make me a hypocrite..

I really am on the fence...

Oh well

Keep Right on

If a team is preforming and getting results you should stick by your manager. ;)

I'm not doubting that, I'm just saying I don't want to be fickle... and go from Anti Bruce to Pro Bruce over night.. it's not in my nature

what are Lorales?

The way bruce turned on us I dont see how anyone can change their mind one iota

Cant complain about the results, but we aren't convincing, if we were there would be a buzz around St Andrews, there is hardly even a murmur

The way bruce turned on us

who are this 'US' you refer to - he didnt turn on me or the thousands of fans who could see he was right - he turned on the rubbish no hopers who fought a battle with him from their armchairs and computers - ex fans who criticised without seeing for themselves what was going on...ex fans who would come out with excuse after excuse for their non attendance - he did not turn on the genuine supporters of this club..

Gaz; please at least get your facts right.

There are a high proportion of fans that still have season tickets that go to home and away games that were also criticised by Bruce. All the BCFC forums are not just full of computer nerds that sit in their armchairs with their laptops all day long moaning about the football without going to a game.

He did mate. He turned on the 15,000 who were not at Derby, but still go to home matches.

He turned on the missing 10 - 12 thousand fans.

And for advice to carrotblu - don't feel embarrassed mate.
You formed an opinion based on what you saw, what you paid to watch and how you felt afterwards - for longer than 4 weeks. If you genuinely believe that Steve has seen the light and the bad old days are gone, then nobody is going to attack you for saying so.

So, support the team - as we all do.
Support the manager only when you trust him. That may take longer mate.

no armchair supporter or keyboard warrior sitting here, but when the manager and the board do not respect the paying public (or indeed those that would pay if we had the same attitude and desire that used to emanate from St Andrews) then they do not deserve my loyalty or support.

Happy with the results but to misquote the bard something is rotten in the state of Birmingham City FC

The expectation of the fans is tough one to counter. We've become used to premiership football. After our god awful last season, even with Championship players we are more interesting to watch than before, so I think that is a definite plus. The fact that we are scoring goals from players of nearly all positions is a positive.

Whilst we ain't exactly Real Madrid to watch, we are getting good results and generally improving in my opinion.

The new story about Marcus Bent being swapped for Julian Gray also sounds a promising idea.

:applause:

that was the point of no return for mr bruce, imo (speaking as one of the mugs who paid his massive wages while he got us relegated)

Marcus Bent. If ever a player epitomised the difference between the 2 divisions better, i'd like to meet him. A failure at the top level, a god in the tier below. My worry is that Bruce is filling his coffers with championship quality, at best, jewels. Fools gold will only fool the foolish. Against Liverpool we were non-existent, Cardiff we were light years behind, and Luton, out-played. Rather than investing in players reknowned for their shortcomings in the top division, why not pile the pennies together, and by someone of a little more panache? Perhaps, as ever, this leads ont o my debate regadring the incorpoaration of our youth into the grand scheme. All still in the plasticine years of their devlopment, when they can be moulded into whatever we desire, why not use them accordingly a make a Micah Richards now, as opposed to leaving them to their own deprived devices and ending up with little more than a Jamie Clapham in a few yaers time!

I certainly dont think you would be classed as an hypocrite for changing your mind/sides on Bruce.

Football is one game that can leave us all looking like idiots, even the best and most experienced people in the game make errors of judgement.

But if you do go to the "Pro-Bruce" side dont think you can jump ship again and join the "Anti-Bruce" side when it all goes pear shaped. :P (joke by the way)
