I wouldn't buy the club outright, but may invest in a good few shares. Those shares would enable me as a shareholder to make changes to a majority of the wrong things down the Blues.

Catering - sack the current staff, and contract from the present company. Employ my catering company i'd set up!  ;)

i can see the newspaper reports already

Birmingham fans: the fattest in the country!
fans blame it on club grub...

I would transfer ownership of the club to the fans.

does that mean the fans would run the business? :o

no, it means that the fans will own the club : the people running the business will be accountable to the fans

similar to the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Sociedad, Osasuna and Barcelona (or the Green Bay Packers in the NFL or to some extent Northampton Town in this country)

that sounds very interesting - could you expand on how that works in practise please?

I was intending to work out the fine details after winning the money, but basic idea is that the club becomes a non profit making cooperative owned by its members (like the mutual building societies). The directors would be elected (and re-elected) by a ballot of the members. That way the fans can vote for whichever "manifesto" they think is best for the club & boot out anybody who does not act in the fans' interest.

I'd certainly buy into the blues, but for a starter I would only buy into and not take full control as I would need to learn off the current owners and have their guidence before I would even think of a full take over. If I won the euro millions total £120m then I would invest in a few businesses as well as the blues.

If I won it:

I reckon £29mil would be enough to buy the club out lock, stock and barrel, and provide a couple of mil for transfers. This is based on our last set of financial accounts.

My first act would be to call Brucio in the boardroom, hand him a cheque for 1/2 mil and tell him to bog off.

My second act would be to shake up the commerical department - to try and move away from looking after corporate fans, and bringing back the fans that have become disillusioned.

My third act would be to set plans up to knock down the main stand, and extend the tilton stand around the corner, to create a horseshoe shape around 3/4 of the pitch, leaving the railway stand as the only standalone stand.

If I won it - I would do it - but there is no way I'd run the club as anything BUT a business.

big mistake mate, those corporate sponsors bring in a hell of a lot of revenue to the club !

I'd bring in a new manager - Curbs or Big Sam
I'd bring in a man motivator - Barry Fry :D
A coach to remind the players of where we used to be - Kevin Francis
I'd re-build the main stand
And I'd have a hugh statue of me in the Kop Car Park!
