Do you think they will allow 'message proposals' like they do in the States ....for lovestruck Bluenoses who want to ask their sweethearts to marry them

Wonder how much that will cost ??

And will they allow a 'BRUCE OUT' Slogan on the giant screen at the next home game we lose 1-0

Now that would send a message, woudn't it ???

Can't see Kaz buying it though :silence:

I could just picture that

Half time
""POOH BEAR....will you walk the walk and be my husband on May 6th ???""

Then a response comes along approaching full time

"""Nah,love, can't do........we got Preston away that day and I'm going....could be a promotion decider""
--------------------

Or the dreaded day a Blues fan's Mrs gives birth to quintuplets

"""Attention Fred of Bartley Green......Congratulations,you are the father of a healthy baby girl""

""And another girl""

""Blimey Fred,another girl""

""Ooooh! you've got a son now,too ""

""Another girl,Fred.......better stock up on those Pampers ""

This is very positive. Memorable moments in our play will be shown: Blues goals, midfield men making darting runs into the opponents penalty area; shots for outside the box; Julian Gray running into space; rapid movement at throw ins. The other 85 minutes they'll show the clock and countdown timer.

Guys its in between the main stand and railway, im so pleased. gonna improve the look so much, all we need now is to finish the look of the stadium. eg expand stadium. and for all you saying itll take long to be put up, its being UNVEILED at the match against QPR.

It's in the same place the Ansells clock and the scoreboard was many moons ago.

Will the screen have the letters A-Z with the scores next to them though? Sell a few programmes and all that!

Had a feeling that you never actually attended a match

The Ansells clock ( which was actually owned by the Brewery and not the club) was situated between the Kop and the Railway.

However the Jeff Hall Memorial Board ( that you refer to as the scoreboard :o ) was actually on the KOP. And was accessed by a withdrawn ladder from the Kop.

I got a letter in the post this morning about it, the big screen will be situated between the Railway and Main stands, from the picture in the letter, I would say it's about 20 feet wide and 15 feet deep, it fill's the gap nicely, it will show live coverage of the game, it will have a clock, yeh, and allow us to vote for our Man of the match.

As far as I can tell from reports, the screen will be in the Kop/railway corner, which is where the Ansells clock was situated. The scoreboard was in the same area after the war if my memory serves me correctly.

ps I really do hope it is placed on the other corner, betwixt the Railway & Main Stand so I can view it from the Kop!
