Did anyone witness the trouble that erupted after the game on saturday! It happened in the little alley way by the old bingo place (first right as ur walking down towards McDonalds from the ground). Anyway, its not the trouble that i want to talk about but more how cowardly the WM police were. There were a few yammers waiting around looking for trouble.. unfortunately for me i timed my arrival to perfection and got caught up in all the commotion. A few punches were thrown (dont worry i wasnt involved in this) and the police stopped it by letting the dogs out on the flow of blues fans walking into the alley way. So it stopped..and then the ring leader planted a right hook on a blues fan who as far as i could tell was simply looking after himself. The police saw this and to by disbelief did nothing but usher the blues fan away.. they saw who the instigator was, saw the punch and did nothing what so ever apart from put the frighteners up the blues fans with there dogs. The yammers who caused the trouble didnt even get moved on which made walking through the alley way a bit uncomfortable to say the least. You'd think they'd police that area a bit better..and then to wind me up even more the police decided to look good patrolling an area where they new full well there was going to be no trouble.

WM POLICE GROW SOME B@LLS!

I was in the alleyway too. Didn't see the punches but had police pushing me out of the way. They should have kept the wolves fans inside the away end until the Blues fans had dispersed. They knew there could be trouble, hence the 12pm kick off. There were people with young kids in the alleyway too.

I would imagine they got the wolves aggresor on camera possibly and they may have arrested him later when it was safer to do so for them and the people around the incident.

I've said before that the police do not provide a good service to football fans (aka tax payers, aka the mugs who pay their wages).

Policing of football generally is for the convenience of the police (e.g. 12pm kick offs) rather than to allow the law abiding majority to go about their business.

That's what modern policing is about. No doubt they've strapped a little blue sign to the nearest lamp-post appealing for witnesses instead of getting our pie eating visitor by the collar at the time.

Speaking of police signs I think the 'Slow Police' one you see occasionally sums up Paul Scott-Lee's finest quite well.

Is it any supprise, the way football is policed is a joke. If you are attacked or injured at a game in ther eyes its your own fault for being at a match. If you travel away from home by train, you are treated like the worlds most wanted criminals.

I dont know how many of you travel with England but its even worse then, on the way to Croatia I was subjected to a 15 minute interagation at Stanstead even tho I have no banning order or ever been nicked at a game. Apparantly it was because i fitted the 'profile'. And i though passenger profiling was illeagal in the UK, apparantly not for footy fans!!

The right-on brigade don't care too much for football fans, that's why they don't kick up a fuss

i was there to and the way they let the dingles out is ridiculous. we get locked in away grounds for hrs after games so theres no trouble yet we let the away fans out at the same time. there were 2 coppers stood on the corner with their dogs and they didnt do nothing when dat bloke got floored an absolute joke. kro
