Well its looking like our upcoming game will be a massiive 6 pointer.!

Cardiff have dropped a few points recently as have our local rivals the Dingles (Burnley). Im not sure Cardiff and Burnley have the squad sizes to sustain their recent good runs.

Anyway, I am looking forward to the game which could have a massive say on the final table posions for both our clubs. :D

All the best. ;)

I also think it will be a very close game. We have beaten you i the last 4 games (including PO semi!) but that will count for nothing.

May the best team win. :P

I have been suprisingly impressed with PNE this season, unlike burnley and Cardiff i could see you as a premiership team.

Preston have been there or there abouts for some seasons now. It would be great for a team of their great history to finish in one of the promotion positions - behind us, of course.

The last time I went up to Preston we had some great banter with the Preston fans and it was just before it became an all seater stadium, so it was great to be able to stand on the terraces again. With my back problem, I wouldn't be able to do it now, but it certainly had more of a football atmosphere, which the seats don't provide.

Good luck for the rest of the season, but not at our expense, please. ;) **thumbup

Is it true that there are ( or were a few years ago)
365 pubs in Preston? And you could go to a different one every day of the year :D If you had the money.

My cousin lives in Preston and he is always telling me that. And I am not looking forward to the last match of the season. My nerves wouldn't take it, I would like the issues to be resolved long before then.

Good luck anyway mate - like us you've been in the play-offs too many times.

Thank you for the nice replies.

As exciting as the play offs are, there is nothing worse than getting knocked out. After failing in the play offs 7 out of 7 times, I dont think I could cope with it again!

well if we are running top with ease at the end of the season and its between you and Cardiff, who knows we might let you take the 3 points **thumbup

I consider Nuge to be worth the £5m that is touted. He has only scored 4 goals this season but he has become more of a team player. He has created more than he has scored. In one recent game, he set up 3 goals but failed to get on the score sheet himself. He is starting to become more of a complete player.

You should watch out for Si Whaley. He has scored 6 and not even a striker. He is another one we got cheap from Bury and his value is climbing ike Nuges.

The pleasing thing since Simmo took over is that we are more attack minded and soring more goals but from more players. Danny Dichio never scored a league goal under Davies but has scored 3 in 4 games this season. Patrick Agymang didnt get much of a look in before but has scored 6 goals in 9 games under Simmo.

Sorry, I missed the question about all the Pubs. I have never lived i Preston, so I cant confirm the number of pubs. Sumners on Sir Tom Finney Way is a top pub and is friendly with away fans.
