More Reviews to follow in near future..... new thing I'm doing.... Started out as some GCSE Coursework stuff, but got abit carried away, and did this ;)

Name: Fabrice Muamba
Place of Birth: Dr Congo
Official Nationality: English
D.O.B: 06/04/1988
Height: 6' 2" (188cm)
Weight:12st 4lbs (78.0kg)
Clubs: Arsenal, Birmingham City (Loan)
Position: Midfielder
Likeness to: Patrick Vieira
Other: England Under 19's Captain

Well what Can I say about Fabrice Muamba, 6 Months ago I new of this lad as a prospect at Arsenal.. along with thousands of others, some of them make it some of them don't. But one thing you can know for sure is that Mr. Wenger will not sign a player, or see a player through the youth system without thinking there is something there. And in late August 2006 When Steve Bruce bought the 3 arsenal youngsters in, Muamba, along with Midfielder Sebastian Larsson and Striker Niklas Bendtner, was a player I didnt know what to make of, I wasn't sure if the signing would prove helpful. Arsene Wenger had already said he wasn't letting us have Muamba and Bendtner Permanantly, so I thought they would come, do their thing, and leave. And I wasnt bothered, I thought, oh well we've got a good enough squad to compete back in the premiership without them. And I was wrong, simple as, I admit it, I was wrong, Fabrice Muamba, as well as the other 2, have proved influential in the Promotion Push. I ahve now found myself wanting these players to sign full time.
Muamba himself has been likened to Patrick Vieira, and immediatly you can see why, he is tough, agressive, gives 100% without fail, can pass well, can see a pass you thought impossible and can see things before they happen, his awareness is exceptional. At 19 this lad has potential to be one of the worlds best players in the future. You may remember 6 ganmes ago, Birmingham ahd been on a 5 game winless run and were in "crisis", then we played derby and got a win, lucky in many respects. And after 1st choice Holding Midfielder Medhi Nafti was dropped for inconsistant peformances, Muamba wa spicked to start one of his 1st games this season after not really making an impact. And since then we havent looked back, 5 wins out of 6 games, all unbeaten conceding once. We have shot up to 2 points off the leaders and 7 or 8 points clear of 7th place. "Fabulous" Fabrice has been at the heart of everything, and doesnt seem like stopping anytime soon.
And certainly if Mr. Wenger seems him out of his plans if we go up next year we will take him off their hands, and after Fabrice's comments last week that he loves the club, and would happily come here if arsene didnt want him, have certainly made me a happy bunny......

Nice article, whatever happen's with Fabrice, if he stay's or goes, I am just happy I got to see him play for Blues, a genuine, honest and hardworking midfielder with a very bright future. **thumbup
