Don't know what everybody else thinks but I fancy him coming to the Blues as a replacement for Upson. He has still premiershiop experience and is surplues to requirement at Boro. He is on loan at Leeds now but I'm sure come January he may be looking forward to next season.

I know the vile connection is a problem but we have gone there before.

The viler connection doesn't especially bother me, they're proffessionals without any particulair alliegance.
But what would bother me is he's an injury plagued over the hill player who'll probably want a top wage and I would hope that we've learnt our lesson that is not the way forward.

So no for me.

Leeds have snapped up Middlesbrough defender Ugo Ehiogu on loan.

The former arston viler man has signed on loan until January 1 after tying up the formalities of his move just before the close of the transfer deadline.

Ehiogu has fallen down the pecking order at Middlesbrough and has yet to feature for Gareth Southgate's men this season.

The summer signings of Jonathan Woodgate and Robert Huth increased competition for places and he has been unable to break his way into the team.

Leeds boss Dennis Wise has been keen to bolster his leaky defence as he looks to improve their form and Ehiogu's experience could prove useful as Leeds look to climb to safety in The Championship

Ehiogu is past it im afraid. Wouldn't be too happy with us signing him. One that I do think might be worth a month or two's loan is Neil Shipperley from Sheff Utd. He is available on loan and did well last season in the Championship. Would definately be worth a loan until january I reckon as he would be good cover for the front 3.
