if we get beat on wed, it will be when all the other clubs left in the FA cup play their 4th round ties.

if we lose up at Newcastle, I think it will be played on the 27th January

That's correct, January 27th if we lose our Cup replay

However if we beat the Magpies we have another nice home tie v PL opposition ...Reading...... on that day

The Leeds game would then have to be switched to another date (of course at this time unknown)....May 9th would be nice :silence:

If we don't win on Wednesday, has the club said Jan 27 or are we saying it just because it makes sense to us?

The story is on the main site now,27th Feb 19:45 would imagine there`d be a fair few who were planing to go who might not be able to make a night game especially the Leeds fans.

Why couldnt they wait till after wed, then if we lose, play the match on sat 27th jan, instead of a midweek evening in february.

Maybe they're worried the pitch still won't be ready!

That's 3 of us out of the picture then, 200 miles each way midweek means time off work and school for the boys. I'll have to get a refund :-(

I was looking forward to that match as well.

Absolutely. I can't make midweek so I'm getting a refund. If they need to make more money from ticket sales why not make the replay a weekend when there are a couple spare.

So the club should have banked on being beat tomorrow to keep fans happy?

WTF?

Rearranged fixtures very rarely get played on a weekend.

I fully expect that it would have been played that Saturday if Newcastle had won at St Andrews.

Waiting to see tomorrow's result would have been a little better I suppose but sometimes BCFC can't do right for doing wrong.

moan, moan bloody moan some people are never happy

the club would have had to take a lot in to consideration before deciding on this date!! one would be police, another travel along with other things

Leeds have booked a foreign training weekend for Saturday 27th Jan, so it does look likely that 27th Feb it will be...if no replay for Blues v Reading...I did say IF.
